Now I see why the event went quiet so suddenly. Can or did the alderman assist the perp in getting a ccw?

Clearly we need to ban interns.

"He had no decision making authority," Maldonado said, adding that Lopez mostly was tasked with shuffling papers and getting coffee. Was it an unpaid internship? These positions are basically slaves. I suppose they look good on a resume, but what is the value? "I got coffee for people" -- "You did??? You're exactly the kind of person I need on my team at Acme Explosives!!"

"He had a very, very pleasant personality," Maldonado said of Juan Lopez, noting that his internship lasted for about eight weeks in either 2016 or 2017. No written records of the internship?
Hey, quit askin' so many questions, the guy only murdered three people inside a hospital, including one police officer who was probably the blame for the whole thing. /s

What ward is Maldanado in ? 11th? For a comparison check out the 14th Burkes ward boundaries. Compare it the way it was in the 90’s and todays. Those should be the one of the issues for the upcoming mayoral race how those communities like Brighton Park. McKinley Park. Back of the Yards. Bridgeport Archer Heights and Garfield Ridge have been cut up.

Yep - we need assault liberal (redundant) control.
To: rktman
In his defense, it’s possible he really DID know nothing.
A lot of these people keep a low profile and leave it bottled up inside until they snap.

Saw that earlier someplace.

I would be willing to go way out on a limb and say that he did Nully. The question would be, why did he? I do not think that it was to be used as a paper weight to hold his Sunday School Book open while in Sunday School or to hole his Bible open while he was in church. But other than that, the sky is the limit.

I will give you three guesses and the first two don't count. Until proven wrong, I would opine that he was a sick bird. The sick bird being of the American Eagle variety.

......did the alderman assist the perp in getting a c/c/w?.... If the Alderman did sign off on, or facilitate, a c/c/w, there'd be an easily accessible paper trail.....oh, wait...this is Chicago.

I think that it could have been. But the question of the ccw that Nully alluded to remains. I do not live in Chicago, but I read that they have strict gun laws. Did the Alderman exert his political influence for him, and if he did, why?
