Justice Roberts’ attack against President Trump was blatantly political and wrong.

In a remarkably inappropriate and blatantly political statement Wednesday, U.S. Chief Justice John Roberts chastised President Trump for the presidents quite accurate criticism of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and its rogue district and appellate court judges.
The spectacle of the ostensibly nonpolitical chief justice engaged in a dispute with the president of the United States is insulting to the Supreme Court and to our system of justice.
Shame on the chief justice. What he did is unforgivable, especially after the corrosive Senate confirmation battle over now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who was the subject of bitter and baseless partisan attacks and character assassination by Senate Democrats.

I dont think thats the way to explain it. Roberts is doing his job. Hes got to champion the notion of an independent judiciary. But Trump is correct that the judiciary is acting in a partisan fashion. At a minimum that is the perception. And it did not start with Trump. The moniker Ninth Circus has been around since at least the Seventies. If the Dems are going to politicize the courts then they are not in a good position to complain that Trump calls them on it.

Ironic that Roberts proved Trump is right by going political on him for pointing out the truth about the courts....

He should be holding office in the Judiciary; I’m surprised POTUS hasn’t appointed him 2yrs ago.

John Roberts is an asshole.
That’s really all there is to it.
Thanks a ton, George.

He isn’t fit to empty waste cans, IMO.

Bush and his decrepit legacy.
Bush is proof that RINO’s (hiding Leftists) are just as bad, in some cases worse, as the Dems (bold-face Leftists).
