TOMS shoe company plans to donate $5 million to various gun control groups. The company also launched a campaign to mobilize their customers to support the gun control agenda.
One of TOMS' campaigns includes a postcard campaign. Customers can input their name and address on their website and the company will send a postcard to their representative.
Here's what the postcards say:
Dear (representative),
More than 90% of Americans support universal background checks.
And I'm one of them.
As your constituent, I urge you to stand with me and pass this life-saving legislation.
Let's end gun violence together.
Sincerely, (your name)
The company's founder, Blake Mycoskie, came to the decision shortly after the tragic shooting in Thousand Oaks, California, not far from his family's home. His wife, Heather Lang, called Mycoskie in fear.
She said, Im not dropping our son off at school this morning, and I dont know if I ever will. Were not safe. Somebodys got to do something, he told Huffington Post. It was a pretty emotional moment for us.

They are very nice comfortable shoes
The ones I know of are a loser style
No relation to Tom McCann shoes.
[Trying to generate shoe sales...never heard of them but now he is tring to ctreate his own base. My criteria for dhoes is price versus quality and comfort. I dont give a damn about this twerps politics.]
What’s this, snowflake owned and operated?
Probably 90% of “anti gun democrats surveyed”. It’s how they roll.
Omg correction loafer.
Hate auto spell ck on this dumb smart phone.
Looks like they’re a mere shadow of their former selves:

K-Mart & Sears?
They’ll be done soon.
They’ve lost their soles!
These people are truly ignorant. I have to pass a background check every time I buy a firearm. And that happens frequently, as I am an avid boater.
Maybe that was Thom McAnn? Buster Brown popped into my head too..
Keep your eye on Washington state. The new gun bill signed into law among other travesties will overturn the state’s preemption law that forbids local governments from going rogue with their own gun laws.
Now every tinpot mayor with a Napoleon complex can ban whatever he & city council want to ban. Scary.
That is the core of collectivism ... by design.
Again, with the left there is no rational thought. There is no rule of law. There is only emotion and how you “feel” about something and how something makes you feel.
“avid boater”
LOL!
That's a shame but things change. When I was a kid 'Thom McAns' was synonymous with shoes. My dad would complain about how scuffed my Thom McAns were and them make me shine his shoes after I shined mine.
It sounds to me like Heather has reached a stage in her life where she needs to do something to make herself feel like she is no longer a helpless victim. I would recommend an NRA approved firearms training course that will give her the knowledge to find the right gun for her. Since she seems a little apprehensive, I think that there is a good chance that a short barreled 20 guage pump shotgun would be a good start for her. They come in attractive pink varieties just right for the fashion conscious Southern CA mom.
Damn, I like their shows. Own a couple of pairs.
Well the owner brags only cost him 9 bucks to make a shoe.
Toms is faggoty shoes.
That was the go to shoe store back in the day.
