Tuesdays midterm House elections saw Democrats fare much better than they did in the 2016 presidential contest. Two years ago, Hillary Clinton topped Donald Trump by 4.6 percent in the popular vote, while this week, Democratic House candidates received 9 percent more votes than their Republican counterparts.

Greater Dem support among whites:
Because the GOP party is too dark?

Well it does make sense. The Dems would not have taken back the House but for a gain among whites.

My experience with Brookings leadership definitely showcased how political and plugged into DC they are.

White kids have been indoctrinated. They believe in white privilege, and pretty much hate themselves for being white. Voting Dem will be the punishment they believe they deserve.
We let them take the schools, we let this happen.

What I read into it is that the GOP fielded a bunch of poor candidates.

It’s all those aging White spinsters who complain to their cats about how mean men, and particularly Republican men, are. Fortunately, they will eventually die off and the pendulum will swing the other way again.

I thought there was just a piece claiming that it was increased support from black voters that explained the Democrats' successes in the midterm election.
Hillary did not get the majority of votes of white Americans in 2016. I think LBJ was the last Democrat to get over 50% of the votes cast by whites.

The unifying theme I gathered from the advertising around here in SW Pennsylvania was "They are going to take away our pre-existing condition covereage." Particularly, they played that theme over and over and over again in our neighboring district (which went for Trump in 2016), they pounded this theme repeatedly. Pretty Boy Conor Lamb made that and his military service in the USMC (without pointing out that it was 14 months as a desk jockey in Okinawa) and the claim that he wouldn't vote for Nancy Pelosi as speaker the centerpiece of his campaign, soundly defeating the frumpy but competent Keith Rothfus.
Just on the basis of commercial count, I'm guessing that Rothfus was outspent by at least four to one.

This pretty much comports with most estimates that show the US at a D+8 split.

Between brainwashed kids, anti-Americans, and massive voter fraud, we lost the House...We desperately need to fix the broken vote/election system...If not, there will be an undertaking that a whole lot of people will wish had never happened...
