A federal judge in San Francisco on Monday barred the Trump administration from refusing asylum to immigrants who cross the southern border illegally, likely prompting a legal challenge from the White House.
Trump issued a proclamation on Nov. 9 that said anyone who crossed the southern border would be ineligible for asylum.
U.S. District Judge Jon S. Tigar, who was nominated by President Obama in 2012 to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, issued a temporary restraining order after hearing arguments in San Francisco.

We are sovereign. POTUS has a duty to his office to maintain that.

He reasoned that the “failure to comply with entry requirements such as arriving at a designated port of entry should bear little, if any, weight in the asylum process.”
Need a different judge to back Trump. That would get this to the USSC fast.
At some point these kind of rulings will reach a point that is so absurd and odious they need to be defied. The Leftists on the bench have been moving toward that point for years now such that it has to happen sooner or later. These “rulimgs” have little more credibilty than just any citizen claiming the US Constitution implies they be given a billion dollars from the givernmemt for hand waving convulted arguments about “fairness”...and declaring that they are making a “ruling” and dont need to be a judge.
PDJT needs to start ignoring such TROs, he can simply jave the DOJ contest it and ignore the TRO.
Let the judge find PDJT in contempt of his TRO and watch what happens next.
Just make sure the caravan doesn’t cross the border.
Once they are in the country the legal haggling will start and many of them will likely be granted a stay.
Avoid it, don’t let them in.
The judge may be trying to set up the President for a reason to impeach.
If Pres. Trump ignores the judge’s ruling.

At this point, that sure sounds like the best option. If, as the judge says, the language of the law prohibits barring illegals from entering anywhere, you can lay the blame on Congress...and don’t count on the Supreme Court overruling this, because they are generally loathe to overturn the law when the language is clear.
The only surprise is that the judge isn’t in Hawaii.
They broke immigration law when they refused asylum in Mexico. What good are laws when they aren’t enforced? Freedom depends on it.
The law that supercedes this judge, is for the President to protect the country and citizens .. from foreign invasion.
There is no law or judge who can equate the masses trying to get across our borders, as “immigrants”. They are in the thousands and they are an invasion force that has used their numbers to crash and threaten their way to our borders... with plans to bring their foreign flags and live here expecting our government to provide a place for them, plus food and healthcare if needed.
We cannot absorb that many and we have no idea who they are. Ya just can’t come here like that! We could have the military armed and shoot invaders... it would not go well with the left, but it would end the invasion and any judge who thought he was the only one who had authority.
The “judge” and his kin are ensuring this gets a fast track to SCOTUS...they will once again have their liberal butts handed to them.
