RUSH: So Stacey Abrams in Georgia has conceded, but well, she hasnt. Shes ripping Kemp, shes gonna run again, refusing to really accept the results of the election in formally conceding, just bitter and angry and calling for a boycott.
Hollywood actors are calling for a boycott of the state of Georgia. Georgia has become a major Hollywood production place because theyve been given tax breaks. And Hollywood actors are claiming theyre gonna start a boycott of Georgia because Stacey Abrams lost an election. This is where were headed. Its not where were headed; its where we are. They refuse to accept the results of an election. This means the people of the state of Georgia are blanket racists.
Kirsten Powers was on CNN over the weekend, former Fox infobabe, now went over across the lines to CNN, claiming that every white woman, period, not voting for Democrats is, by definition, racist. The whole state of Florida is now racist because Stacey Abrams wasnt elected governor.
Andrew Gillum unconceded and then reconceded. He lost! He lost on Election Day. He lost before Election Day. He lost in a gooped-up attempt to recount. This is an absolute embarrassment what happened in Palm Beach County and in Broward County in south Florida. Its no doubt what was being attempted there. And they were unable to steal either of these two elections, the Rick Scott for Senate victory and DeSantis for governor. So Gillum has conceded, then he unconceded, now hes reconceded.
Nelson Smiley Face Staples has conceded as well. And Snipes, Brenda Snipes has resigned. If the Democrats are smart theyll hire her for overall postelection recount. Theyll make up a whole new division in the Democrat Party, postelection recount division, and she can head it up. None of it was necessary. None of any of that that happened. What do you mean, Rush? The elections were close, and by law, they had to have recounts. Yeah. Yeah. But all of its so unnecessary. The recounts wouldnt have happened if thered been some concessions.
Its important to note, folks, look Ive been talking about this for a while now, and I dont want to overdo it here, but there is very, very bad connotations and future to a political party that will not concede election losses. That sets the table for really acrimonious, unsettling, potentially violent times down the road, you know, losers acknowledging theyve lost and then taking steps to fix what went wrong has been one of the foundational building blocks of the country.
Adherence to the Constitution, a mere piece of paper, and yet its been adhered to with respect and reverence for all of the years of our founding. Some exceptions out there of course, but it wouldnt have taken much for a single human being, a president, to come along and literally go on TV and tear it up and say its no longer applicable and start forging whatever kind of country and government he wanted. We hang by that thin a thread, the reference to the Constitution.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: Yeah. Eric Holder says about Georgia, Democracy lost in Georgia. This is dangerous, dangerous stuff. You had Sherrod Brown last week said, If this Kemp guy wins, then they stole it. They stole election, he was saying. The same thing is happening in Florida. These guys practically ran the table. You know theres not a single Republican member of Congress from Orange County, California? Theyve lost everything. The Republicans are as tiny a factor in California as they have ever been. I mean, not a single seat out of Orange County.
The margins here in Florida were very close, but they were no different after the recount than on election night, despite the efforts. There was even somebody in Florida, I think it was Broward County Ill have the details coming up during the recount, the ballot counting was going too fast. The machines were going too fast. So somebody stuck a paper clip in the power button to try to short-circuit it and slow it down. (laughing) To slow it down! I mean, the most incredible things were happening.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: ElRushbo@eibnet.us and the Limbaugh Institute where there are no graduates and there are no degrees because the learning never stops. We still have to make a decision. The governor of Florida the governor-elect, Ron DeSantis has specifically requested a diploma from the Limbaugh Institute.
We interviewed him here which was, of course, instrumental in his victory. We interviewed him and he requested a diploma that he could hang on his official governors wall in Tallahassee, and Ive never had a request for one. Hes not talking honorary. He wants the real deal. So were contemplating that, since Andrew Gillum has re-conceded. After conceding and then unconceding, hes re-conceded, and hes admitted that he lost. In fact, lets listen to some of this. Heres Stacey Abrams. This is an angry woman.
I think this is an angry woman during the campaign. This is an angry woman before the election. I think the lefts natural state of mind is angry, outraged. Its certainly not true that theyre happy. The left is not made up of happy people or even content people. The lefts main preoccupation each day is outrage and anger, and they use it to bully and to intimate and when that doesnt work, do they steam! Oh, do they get mad! So Stacey Abrams thinks that she was illegitimately defeated for governor of Georgia and shes not gonna accept the outcome.
Shes not gonna concede ever because she didnt lose. The system cheated her. This is not healthy, and its not good. As I mentioned earlier, a bunch of Hollywood actors are now suggesting a boycott of Georgia. Georgia has become You know the Netflix series Ozark? Filmed in Georgia. Its filmed in Georgia. Its about Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, but its filmed in Georgia. Some big body of water, some lake outside Atlanta somewhere. Im not sure what it is. I dont remember.
Because theyve given Hollywood tax breaks just like New York gave Amazon tax breaks, just like Canada gives Hollywood tax breaks. So if theres a boycott of Georgia, if it ever amounts to anything, you people in Georgia ought to support it. Youre getting hosed! Youre being forced to pay whatever tax rate youre paying while these Hollywood types are given all kinds of tax breaks to come in and produce whatever it is theyre producing! Anyway, here is Stacey Abrams, defiant in Atlanta. This is on Friday at a press conference to deliver her non-concession speech
ABRAMS: You see, Im supposed to say nice things and accept my fate. They will complain that I should not use this moment to recap what was done wrong or to demand a remedy. You see, as a leader I should be stoic in my outrage and silent in my rebuke. But stoicism is a luxury and silence is a weapon for those who would quiet the voices of the people and I will not concede because the erosion of our democracy is not right.
RUSH: Exactly right, and the proof of the erosion of our democracy is that she lost. Why, she even had Oprah! The Oprah went in there, and she still lost! Which proves that Georgia is what? A racist state and undemocratic to boot. If you lose as a large African-American woman and youre being endorsed by another large African-American woman, then there has to be some sexism and racism going on.
And, by God, were not gonna concede to this flouting of democracy. Here is more of Stacey Abrams. She was on State of the Union Sunday morning on CNN. Jake Tapper was talking to her. And he said to her, Sherrod Brown, the Senator in Ohio, says the election was stolen. Do you agree that your election was stolen, and do you think that Brian Kemp is not the legitimate governor-elect of Georgia?
ABRAMS: The law as it stands says that he received an adequate number of votes to become the governor of Georgia.
TAPPER: Is he the legitimate governor-elect of Georgia?
ABRAMS: He is the person who won an adequate number of votes
TAPPER: But thats not
ABRAMS: to become the governor.
TAPPER: Youre not answering the question.
ABRAMS: I am an (sputters)
TAPPER: Do you think it was
ABRAMS: No, I
TAPPER: Youre not using the word legitimate. Is he the legitimate governor-elect of Georgia?
ABRAMS: He is the legal governor of Georgia.
Stacey Abrams: 'Democracy failed' in Georgia governor race>
RUSH: Okay. So what is this? He received an adequate number of votes to become the governor of Georgia. Tapper: But is he legitimate? He is the person that won an adequate number of votes. But thats not Jake, what does it matter when she thinks it is legitimate or not? What the hell does it matter? Okay, so the loser says the winners not legitimate but hes legal? What does it matter what she thinks?
Why is what she thinks the news? Why is what the left thinks of everything the news? Why is the impact good or bad on the Democrats always the focal point of the narrative? Why? Why is it that when the Democrats lose, theres something weird or odd about it, and when the Republicans win theres something fishy about it? Why is this? Inquiring minds want to know. Heres Staple Face, smiley Bill Nelson on his campaign website posting a video conceding the race to Rick Scott. This is the senator race
NELSON: Things worked out a little differently than Grace and I had hoped. But let me say I by no measure feel defeated. And thats because Ive had the privilege of serving the people of Florida and our country for most of my life. I was not victorious in this race, but I still wish to strongly reaffirm the cause for which we fought.
RUSH: Well, okay, its a little better. Hes acknowledging that he didnt win, and hes not categorizing it as illegitimate. Its still not right, but they gave it their best shot. They gave the recount their best shot, they put their best people on it: Brenda Snipes, Susan Bucher. They put their best experts they had on it, and they couldnt flip it, so it must be legitimate. Here is Andrew Gillum. This is Saturday in Tallahassee.
GILLUM: We said that we will fight until the last vote, uh, is counted. We wanted to make sure that every single vote including those that were overvotes, undervotes. Uh, as long as it was a legally cast vote, we wanted those votes to be counted, and now that we are rounding that process out, R. Jai and I wanted to take a moment, uh, to congratulate Mr. DeSantis on becoming the next governor of the great state of Florida.
RUSH: Now, there you go. Theres a little grace there. Thats what used to always get praised. Thats what was always acknowledged as the way to go. No harm there. Gillum didnt hurt his chances. Maybe some of the radicals on the left think he was being too nice, but thats the way it used to go. Heres Rick Scott this morning on Fox & Friends and on the Fox News Channel. Steve Doocy said, Congratulations. Did you at any point think that they might find a bunch of ballots in a book room somewhere and that the other guy who has the job, i.e., Smiley Staple Face Nelson was gonna keep it?
SCOTT: It was very frustrated. When I announced wed won that Tuesday night, we were up 57,000 votes, and they just kept finding ballots. And so thats why, you know, Im thank full for a lot of people that brought light to this to make sure we stop this and were gonna do everything we can to make sure these elections are free and fair.
RUSH: And one more, Ron DeSantis, also on Fox & Friends this morning with Brian Kilmeade. Hes the new governor, governor-elect of Florida. Were there any doubts in the interim from Election Day to today that you would be, at this moment, governor-elect of Florida?
DESANTIS: No. I mean, look, the only thing better than being elected governor of Florida is being elected twice in two weeks.
KILMEADE: (chuckling)
DESANTIS: And so, you know, we had a margin on election night. It was a close race, but it was definitive that I had won. And even with some of the votes that turned up in Broward, I mean, my margin was significant enough. We knew the machine recount was not gonna change it and it didnt. And I also had confidence that Governor Scott would end up winning the recount, both the manual and machine recount there. So I think thats great that it happened and that were moving on now.
Bad messaging may be a part, but I cannot ignore blatant fraud going on in vote-counting. As I said, no locale where Democrats are in charge of voting can be considered valid. They do not feel they have to obey the rules and can engage in any conduct or actions to keep or maintain or proliferate power. You cannot fight an opponent when you’re playing by Marquis of Queensbury rules and they carry a Bowie knife, a gun and a bazooka in their waistband.
As an aside, it didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out Marfa McQueeg was a bad candidate. Virtually half the GOP base voters knew she was a RINO with an even worse voting record than Flake. Unfortunately, neither Arpaio nor Ward would’ve won, namely because Arpaio was a joke and Ward didn’t have the $$ resources. A reliable Conservative should’ve stepped up, someone like ex-Rep. John Shadegg or ex-Treasurer Dean Martin or Jeff DeWit.
If Ducey seriously appoints her if Kyl steps down, he might as well appoint a Demonrat to the vacancy, because he’s pissing the seat away.
Reality: she is the only R with a state wide presence who has won a primary. I have scoured my brain for ANYONE else. If you don’t want a McCain it’s McS.
Here’s more reality: Because your state GOP nominated a rotten RINO, you got a rotten sex pervert Stalinist (not a Dennis DeConcini, but a Dianne Feinstein) who hates the state and people she represents... for (at least) the next 6 years (and if AZ turns into CA or WA, perhaps for decades to come).
I’m very serious when I say this 2018 “election” is pushing us closer to Civil War 2. When they steal 2020, that will be it. These people who stole these seats by whatever illicit means do not share our values, morals and ethics, do not obey the laws we obey, do not respect the Constitution, and we have no reason to abide by anything that they do to us.
And since yesterday, they stole ANOTHER Republican seat in California, while the incoming GOP leader sits back and does nothing. Maybe he will when they take the remaining 5 or 6 left. Forget messaging, this is a coup d’état.

Bush 1988 got 69% in DuPage, unimaginable today. You knew something was rotten in 2004 when Bush Jr’s vote share went DOWN from 2000.
The Crook County suburbs are probably in even worse shape though. As recently as 2004, George W. Bush did quite well out here, carrying large portions of the township and one quadrant of my town. Overall it something like 52%-Kerry, 47%-Bush in southwest suburban Crook. I bet the region voted 2/3rds for Fred Flintstone for Governor these days.
What’s her face, Kelli Ward, would have lost by double digits even if she had won the Powerball and used every penny on the race.
No one else did step up so I can hardly bash “Marfa” for being the only viable candidate to run.
And while I’m not thrilled with the idea of appointing her. I also struggled to come up with someone. DeWitt is an untested cipher who left the state to take a ridiculous minor NASA post, he’s not interested.
I suggested John Shadegg should have run last time and you IIRC so said he was too old.
The rats don’t have another pretty fake moderate top tier Senate candidate so we’ll hold the seat , provided Trump carries the state.
We got to keep it away from Cindy and Meg.
If it’s not “Marfa” which I’d give good odds it will be, she should run for her House seat again.
I was surprised when Obama narrowly held DuPage in 2012, bad portent.
That was really ticks me off. The RATs won 90% of the races in California and Illinois on election day, now the GOP "opposition" does absolutely nothing and sits back while the RATs steal the remaining 10% of contests they couldn't win outright on election day. They won't be satisfied until they hold 100% of the seats in those states.
I just read some article about obvious vote fraud in Orange County, the RATs were "winning" all six congressional districts that John Cox carried for Governor by 20,000+ votes (and I know from first hand experience that Cox is a lousy candidate who ran pathetic campaigns in Illinois and didn't even come close to beating Gavin Newsom). Do people honestly believe that tens of thousands of voters supported a weak underfunded "R" for Governor and then crossed over to vote RAT for Congress OVER THEIR POPULAR, INCUMBENT GOP CONGRESSMAN in those places?
I hate to see the few remaining conservatives in those states wiped out. I wish the RATs could do something useful and "find" enough ballots to defeat George Pee Bush instead.
Shadegg is 69, so that was one concern. He’d have really just been running for maybe 1 term, 2 might be pushing it. I thought Dean Martin would’ve made a compelling candidate. He’s the one whose wife died giving birth and then the baby died right after.
I don’t know what this crazy obsession is with Marfa McQueeg. Now that she’s lost two elections (once for House and once for Senate), it’s time to let someone else step up who isn’t reviled by half the primary voters in the state.
As for the Dems not having more candidates, given that they just picked up some statewide (including Sec of State, which means Ducey cannot run for the vacancy), I’d also think they might turn to Ann Fitzgerald, who just took Marfa’s seat after carpetbagging to the district. They also have Cap’n McQueeg’s Stalinist ex-RINO protégé, ex-Atty Gen Grant Woods, who may also jump in (as a Dem).
We need strong, unapologetic Conservatives running, not weak-kneed RINOs that just hand over seats to the Communists like candy.
To borrow a phrase that got LS suspended from Twatter, you'd have to be effing RETARDED to believe the Dems actually won any of those seats legitimately. As I said in my other long-winded posts, any district where the Dem "won" by 10% or less can be considered stolen. Dems cheat, Dems lie, Dems steal. That's it, period.
Here’s the data.
In contrast to the propaganda claiming the Governor’s race would be close, the reality was Newsom was far ahead the entire time and Cox, like always, was a very weak candidate for the GOP. He couldn’t even muster 40% statewide, and finished with 38% overall (by comparison, Kevin de Leon, running statewide in the same election against entrenched incumbent Feinswine, got 45.5% statewide)
Cox narrowly carried Orange County (while losing heavily in the rest of state) because of the historic GOP bent of the region. He defeated Newsom by a margin of 489,000 votes to Newsom’s 467,000 in O.C., so roughly 20,000 more people in O.C. voted for Cox than Newsom.
Yet we’re supposed to buy that Cox was “more popular” than the following Congressional candidates: Young Kim, Mimi Walters, Russell Lambert, John Briscoe, Dana Rohrabacher, AND Diane Harkey, ALL of whom “lost” Orange County further down the ticket in their respective districts, while Cox carried O.C. on the SAME ballot.
Sorry, not buying it.
I bet if they actually investigated these newly found ballots putting the RAT congressional candidates over the top, they’d find numerous “votes” where the Governor’s race slot left blank as the “voter” only opted to cast a vote
for the congressional contest.
And here for Newsom (RED) & Cox (BLUE):
It's pretty obvious that a lot of usual GOP areas voted for Leon merely as the opposition to DiFi.
I noted a million vote discrepancy between the Senate and Governor's races - with the initial numbers to date having Newsom getting 5.6 million votes, Cox getting 3.6 million, and DiFi got just 4.5 million and Leon 3.7 million. That may simply be a million Republican voters who took a pass on the Senate race, which was a joke (and a disenfranchisement of the voters).
No, it simply makes no logical sense that a weak GOP candidate (carpetbagger, effectively) would run ahead of incumbent GOP Congressmembers, especially in districts that have been Republican for 6 decades or longer.
Contrast with my state of TN, which despite early voting, has voter ID laws and because of a cute quirk in the laws requiring every county election commission to be run by the majority party in the legislature (enacted by Dems to keep countless GOP counties from taking control), the GOP has a majority of even the strongest Dem counties (which is really just 3: Davidson's Nashville, Shelby's Memphis and Black-majority Haywood, a rural county).
Since the GOP took control effectively in 2008/10, the Dems aren't able to engage wholesale in the kinds of tricks that they used to, and as a result, we've had an extraordinarily stable political scene and reached almost maximum occupation of offices in GOP areas (Nashville excluded, which was a sop to the Democrat friends of outgoing Speaker Harwell). So when you see these wild swings in areas where there are no voter ID laws and other chicanery, it's pretty clear what's happening. I don't believe for a moment that California legitimately swung from holding half the seats in CA (26) to, what, 6 or 7 at the Federal level and that not a single, solitary Democrat incumbent has been defeated there since 1994. Not even high point years like 2010, where 3 seats (11th, 20th & 36th); 7 or 8 seats in 2012 and 9 in 2014, were stolen from the GOP (perhaps more).
I forgot to check in on AZ Sec of State, fVKKKK!!!!!!!! Priority one for that skank will be to steal the state from Trump.
And Governor Ducey better avoid small planes.
Cox didn’t win Orange by much and none of our OC Congressional candidates “lost” by much.
His overall performance looked semi-respectable on election night. As “the votes” keep on coming and coming and coming it’s ended up as probably the worst performance ever for a CA GOP Gov nominee, while it won’t end up as the lowest % ever (GOP did worse in 1978 and in 1914 when RINO Hiram Johnson won as a Bull Moose and Dan Lungren’s 1998 % is still slightly less for now), Newsomes % is the highest ever for a Cali rat Gov nominee, and the margin is the largest.
I never thought Cox would get within 10 but...bad. Theft amplifying the loss or not you can’t be surprised, running this loser and carpetbagger was an absurd decision. Travis Allen 100% would have also lost badly but he was clear choice.
As for Leon, I noted last week how Republicans clearly mostly voted for him. Kavanaugh is the obvious reason why. Would have been such irony if Difi had lost over that. And the joke would have been on us and Leon is slighly worse and being younger and Brown, much more dangerous, not that I blame voters for wanting to punish Difi. I wonder how progtards are handling or if they are even acknowledging the fact the DeLeon was essentially crushed in the democratic primary and only came close to winning because of US.
Both sides must soon realize that GOP voters can decide rat/rat races, which sadly may predominate if the GOP doesn’t care to create some kind of process to prevent multiple Republicans for the safe office.
>> patriots should take to the streets over this
Or castrate and replace the complacent GOP hierarchy
I submit NONE of them actually lost (except Cox).
Those need not be mutually exclusive pursuits.
Rewarding McCarthy while the Dems openly stole half or more than half of the ludicrously undersized CA GOP delegation (and still attempting to steal more as I type) is obscene.
