Romney signals anti-warming push

Utah Sen.-elect Mitt Romney signaled he may focus on climate change when he's sworn in in January.

In a brief interview with E&E News yesterday, the former Republican presidential nominee said he sees climate change as a "critical area."

....snip

Last year, Romney told college students in St. Louis that he was "concerned about the anti-scientific attitude" expressed by some of his Republican colleagues and that he was convinced humanity has played a part in global warming (Climatewire, Oct. 3).

"I happen to believe that there is climate change, and I think humans contribute to it in a substantial way, and therefore I look with openness to all the ideas that might be able to address that," he said at the time.

“I’m beginning to really dislike mormons.”

Based on my experiences living here in the Intermountain West most of the LDS’ers I’ve met are good conservatives. OTOH, there’s Harry Reid, Jeff Flake, Kristen Sinema, Mittens and I’ve probably omitted a few.

We, the American people, are going to have to do something to get these fools off this “man-made climate change/global warming” crap...There are many, many more important things need to be done in our country than this BS...

I certainly don’t understand his motivations.

He wants freedom to strap your dog to your roof?

He will never be POTUS at this point.

Being in the Senate will not allow him the latitude to fix Olympic type operations. He just wants to be a #NeverTrumper Luddite?

So I guess it is to be expected from a man whom has proven time, and again he’s about as Republican as Ted Kennedy.

Utah just elected a liberal democrat for their senator to cap off the complete JOKE that the republican party has become. Congats, gorons.

Romney actually lost the caucus for Senate. Too bad he got a second bite of the primary apple and Utah failed to reject him.

Wait! Which way does he what to change climate change. Warmer or colder. Because I vote for warmer. The sun says colder, so I don’t know how the mor(m)ons are going to Macgyver warmer temps if the sun doesn’t comply.

If Romney really believes humans contribute significantly to global warming and also believes global warming will destroy our civilization ... then it seems the most only effective way to deal with it is to eliminate humans.

Not everyone believes in global warming so it is not fair to just kill those people. What seems fair to me is for people who believe like Romney to take one for the team and reduce themselves from the human footprint.

Mittens isn’t a team player. But then there’s no penalty for being a maverick in the Senate.

“”I think humans contribute to it in a substantial way””

And those would be ????????????? If a person CAN’T be specific, why do they even bother to open their mouths?

Way I look at it

Romney is just Flake and McCain rolled up into one

So instead of two crazy votes, we have one single crazy vote, he can do less damage then the McCain/Flake team.

I also have a feeling he will act more like Rand Paul, bitch and moan about something, grab media attention and then vote for it anyways the next day, Rand Paul is the master at that.
