Democrat Stacey Abrams says she can’t win the Georgia governor’s race, effectively ending her challenge to Republican Brian Kemp.
Her speech Friday effectively puts a stop to the contest. The final result had been in doubt for 10 days after the election.

I knew a guy at work who got his news from the Daily Show with Stewart.
We worked in the same area....job required a college degree.
Funny story....our local county was going to propose an increase in property taxes. I told him about it and he was ready to storm the courthouse. I asked him why he was so upset and opposed to that but would vote for demoncrats who do the say thing.
His answer: That's different....this is my money.

Abrams blamed the loss on “voter suppression” (the go-to excuse for Dems), but of course didn’t elaborate on HOW any votes were suppressed. She knows that making the allegation alone is enough to get tens of millions of idiots to repeat that lie over and over and over.
Boggles the mind.
Have a relative. All of his life, pretty smart guy. His son and daughter, pretty sharp too.
He’s in New Mexico. He and his wife, from what I can tell, believes Fox is all fake (sounded like CNN / MSNBC viewers). Yeah, retired. I haven’t talked to them in years now. Figured there was no point.
I watched the rant, and seeing her for the first time, was surprised. She has been painted here as a blathering wacko. But watching her, she is an articulate, charismatic wacko. We dismiss people like Abrams, Casio Cortes, Sinema, O'Rourke, and others at our own peril. As I have said on other threads, we keep putting up dull, inarticulate people who lack passion and charisma, and can't effectively articulate their positions to the average voter. They are neither exciting nor inspiring. Florida, Arizona, Texas and Georgia would not have been close if we had better candidates.

Have to be able to relate very well to the people....and able to fire up ‘FEELINGS” because todays people vote according to how you identify with their ‘feelings’.....sad but true.

Jimmy Carter's son lost by 3x the margin of this woman, who ran explicitly against white voters and farmers-in Georgia, of all places-and was rabidly pro-abortion and pro-illegal alien.
You would think they'd be trumpeting this loss as a sign of how much things have changed.
disgraceful. now they even threaten the basic tenet of “equal under the law” by declaring ‘raciss’.. and “I’ll be back, with all my FRIENDS!”...
It wouldn’t surprise me if they took a poll and discovered that she was LESS popular than she was before the election.
Her behavior did not do her any favors. Maybe some supporters saw her for the trouble she would be.
