A federal judge on Friday granted CNN's request for a court order that would temporarily reinstate network correspondent Jim Acosta's White House press pass, which had been suspended indefinitely in the wake of a fiery exchange between the reporter and President Donald Trump a week earlier.
The ruling from Judge Timothy Kelly, who was appointed by Trump, was a first victory for CNN in the ongoing case.

This is bull$hit
Where on earth does this moron judge think is his ‘right’ to be in The White House?
Most certainly, since I've never been involved in them. But I know the difference between right and wrong.
Mr Ramsbotham: If he can’t judge impartially, he should find some other line of work.
Jeff Chandler says: “You’re new to politics, aren’t you?”
“Could you be more specific?”
“Politics” should play no part in a judge’s decision and should be politically impartial. You, Jeff Chandler, imply that judges playing politics should not only be accepted but is the norm and anybody who disagrees with that decision obviously is new to the world of politics. That makes you part of the problem.
The fact is sir, the political action of judges is the norm.
Rationalization on theoretical kumbaya grounds is foolish
Ah, there's the problem. You think my harshly accurate observations imply acceptance.
Pull the cameras.
Trump nominee. From the swamps of Congress and Never Trumper DC.
Trump should have listened to old pal Roger Stone back in the transition, when Roger was trying to tell him that personnel is policy is destiny in politics, but Trump got persuaded to go with Javanka’s Establishment advice instead.
No he doesn't appear to be part of the problem. He was merely offering his opinion. While you or I may disagree with his opinion, that in no way means he is part of the problem.
In fact, he may be right as to why he ruled the way he did, however, I think it was to show he not biased because he was nominated by President Trump. Regardless of his motive, the judge is dead wrong, and he is part of the problem for sure.
I do believe it works that way.
sorry, wrong post.
“temporarily reinstate”
OK turkey, here’s your pass back. Unfortunate that there will be no press conferences scheduled until after the case has been adjudicated.
Okay, then put him in the back of the room and don’t call on him.
Exactly what I was thinking! The smarter play here for the White House may have been not to revoke his press pass, but to ignore him at the press conferences. By revoking the pass, Acosta has now become a cause celebre for the Lame Stream Media, and given them more ammunition (this time, almost true) against their hated enemy, PDJT and anyone associated with him.
On the other hand, if you call on him maybe once every 3 or 4 press conferences, you let him play his "Mr. Liveshot" game once in a while. He'll probably fall into the trap of either hogging the mic when he is called on, or, better yet, whining on the Criminal News Network that he's being "unfairly treated" by the White House. Either way, he comes off as a petulant child...
Left - observes laws they don’t like, simply order others to not observe them (Obama)
Right - We gotta follow ‘em
THIS CANNOT LAST
Yeah. Lasts for 14 days.
This doesn’t mean he gets to ask a question. I’d ignore him everytime. Or better yet, cancel the daily briefings. But, they should appeal this. Separtion of powers. Judiciary can’t tell Executive how to run their stuff.
Don’t call on Acosta..When he interrupts just wait then try again..when he interrupts shut it down saying sorry,Jim refuses to allow anyone else to talk ,so this is a waste of my time..
A few times like that,I bet the other journos bring Acosta to heel..
