The governor is a Republican
The Republicans control the Florida state legislature

Why aren’t they considering reform of the election system? These things can be made better. Purge the rolls, use voter ID, purple ink for voters, clear paper ballots, tamper-proof machines, track the materials so that nothing gets “found” after the fact.

The GOP is in charge. Why don’t they prevent election fraud?

They don’t clear it up so they can participate.

Laws are in place, the problem is the lack of enforcement conditions that punish Supervisors not adhering to laws or those that intentionally taint the count. For instance, there were "dozens" of tainted provisional/absentee ballots thrown into the mix. The simple solution is to throw out that number based on the current percentage that candidates have captured in that district once all the early and same day votes are counted.

Petitioners are relegated to suing which does not mean much when the judges are either in on the fraud or defend the fraud from a “distance” by using various civil rights laws that have nothing to do with abiding by deadlines, provisional ballots, canvassing, oversight, chain-of-custody, etc....

The only extensions should be voters who ARE in line before the 7PM deadline to vote or a catastrophic event. Legislating penalties could pass appeals with any competent lawyer describing the purpose of law and order in the first place.

Laws mean nothing if not enforced.

We need someone with the manhood to enforce them, despite the screams of protest from the dems and whatever rhetoric they try to use to paint us as the bad guys.

“The GOP is in charge. Why don’t they prevent election fraud?”

Really good question.

The awesome Pammy Blondi was AG two years ago when Ms. Brenda Snipes was flagrantly breaking law after law to steal an election.

Why did she not do her duty as the Chief Law Enforcement Officer in Florida?

She should RESIGN!

In the case of FL, Scott was afraid of being called a racist. Until gutless politicians become more like Trump, voter fraud will continue until all is lost.

They can not do much to reform. Our problem is we are the oldest democracy in the world, and unfortunately locked into an election system from the horse and buggy days, when fast communication was not available.

Can you imagine if IRS had an office in each of the 3242 counties in US, and each branch was responsible for processing taxes within the county. It would be replete with corruption and chaos.

But that is exactly what we have...3242 counties responsible to process voter ballots in their own merry way. Who will have intestinal fortitude to bring elections into the modern era? Democrats won’t. They love the system. And republicans are scared of being called racists simply for requiring proper identification to vote.
