Walt Disney World banned an ex-Marine from the Upper West Side from all its parks last week for waving a Trump 2020 banner on Splash Mountain, he says.
Forty Disney employees escorted me out, recalled Dion Cini, 49.
I held up the sign for two seconds so I can take a picture, he told The Post.
Youre allowed to hold up signs on Disney rides cameras, cellphones, and other stuff like that. People have been doing it for years. They just kicked me out cause of the context of the sign.
Cini, an annual pass-holder with over 1,000 days in the parks, shared the news of his banishment on Facebook along with a note from the Orange County Sheriffs Office, outlining the requirements.
Trespassed from all of Walt Disney World properties to include, but not limited to, Theme Parks, Water Parks, Resorts and Disney Springs, the order says.
According to Disney rules, unauthorized events, demonstrations or speeches, or the usage of any flag, banner or sign for commercial purposes, or to incite a crowd is prohibited. ..."
The first time might have been borderline inciting the crowd, and they called me back and said theyd let me in, Cini explained. The second time, I just help up a small sign and I did not incite a crowd. So I actually proved my own theory. That they kicked me out cause of the context of the sign and not the policy.
Cini has made headlines in the past for his support of Trump. The longtime New Yorker regularly rows up and down the Hudson River in an 18-foot scull while flying his trademark Trump 2020 flag.

First,I think he should get a friend to do the same thing with a “Hillary 2020” sign.If the same ban doesn’t happen you see the bias.I’d like to see him sue.Of course he’d lose but it would sure be fun to watch.
“Hillary 2020” signs are likely found at any Disney Gift Shop.
If not, why not?
Had he been holding a Bernie Sanders sign, nothing would have happened.
According to the article, you can hold up signs on Disney rides, and people have been doing it for years. The man was banned not because he held up a sign but because he held up a Trump sign.
“I was in the Orlando one for a business meeting for 2 days and wanted to take a flame thrower to the place. “
I know how you feel. If I didn’t get to play golf on my business trip I would have set the place ablaze.
How long before they remove Trump’s figure from the Hall of Presidents?
I dug a little further, not only had he been kicked out once before 6 weeks ago, but they gave him his pass back if he promised not to do it again, and he did it again.
Also. Walt Disney World rules prohibit unauthorized events, demonstrations or speeches, or the usage of any flag, banner or sign for commercial purposes, or to incite a crowd.
This guy is an agitator and got what he wanted, attention.
Not a golf guy, but most of the places we had meeting had nice rooms, decent TV, a good bar... Disney is all about getting you out and spending money, there’s nothing but their restaurants etc etc...
The best meeting place was the Embassy Suites in La Jolla CA.
Glad to be entertaining. The novel I tried to write - if published, would likely get me killed, so it stays in the box.
WALT Disney World Resort Park Rules!
Site didn’t allow copying, so I couldn’t post the rules directly. And I have no time now to look elsewhere.
The dude was kicked out once before in 2017 because of “incitement” and decided to test his luck again by breaking the same rule?
What’s that running meme about the definition of insanity?
The city that no longer has a Pulse.
I guess I won’t be taking the family to any Disney park anytime soon.
Wow! Slam!!!!!
Excellent. Top kek.
Yeah. I don’t want to see that kind of thing at Disney World. That’s not what the place is for.
