Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) on Monday seconded French President Emmanuel Macron's sentiments against nationalism, tweeting, "Macron is right" on what he said on the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.

Macron heavily criticized "nationalism" in an apparent jab at President Trump during his Armistice Day remarks in Paris on Sunday.

Kasich only said that because he’s wants Macron’s hands all over his body, like they were on President Trump during this last visit.

Two more months until he leaves the goverbor’s mansion and probably leaves the state for a K Street job and a stint on CNN as their pet Republican.

I was wondering. It seems like it’s taking this particular hemorrhoid a long time to go away.

Maybe he can get together with Jeff Flake and Little Billy Kristol and start their own political party - you know, membership of three.

He’s right. We need to change the names of the NFL, NL, NFC, NHL, NBC, NPR, Nabisco, and the Washington Nationals, ASAP

Family of Kasich: Do something with John, he is senile and is a danger to himself and society.

Somebody else conflating “nationalist” with “Nationalist Socialism”, which is best known for its contraction in the German language, “Nazi”.

The truly evil part of “Nationalist Socialism” is NOT the “nationalist” part, but the “socialism” part.

Socialism in ALL of its forms and permutations has vastly overpromised and miserably underperformed everywhere it is tried. Nobody can make socialism work without applying the threat of deadly force, and sometimes even resorting to application of that deadly force, through some rather harsh “re-education camps” and executions of varying numbers of the “non-compliant”.

Command-and-control is the very essence of tyrants and despots everywhere. Not all of these command-and-control schemes are socialist, but EVERY socialist scheme is command-and-control.

Hey, Jean, STFU. You didn’t even come close to challenging the guy who won, and that should tell you what the people of this country think of you, you poor imitation of a cheese-eating surrender monkey.

“WWI was not the result of nationalism. That was the pretext for leaders eager for the “glory” of war.”

I disagree. It was about who controlled everything. The English and French were largely satisfied, having started colonization and industrialization far earlier than the Germans and, just as obviously, the Germans were dissatisfied. Germany was looking for an excuse, and had lined up allies in advance, and the Brits and Frogs had to prepare for the onslaught they knew was coming and get allies of their own. Russia, Austria, Italy and a host of others got dragged in by the more powerful nations.

It was really no more and no less a stick up of the existing order by the Germans. Glory had nothing to do with it at the highest levels.
