It could happen in a matter of months, says Martin Mlynczak of NASAs Langley Research Center. ________________
The sun is entering one of the deepest Solar Minima of the Space Age, wrote Dr Tony Phillips just six weeks ago, on 27 Sep 2018.
Sunspots have been absent for most of 2018 and Earths upper atmosphere is responding, says Phillips, editor of spaceweather.com.
Data from NASAs TIMED satellite show that the thermosphere (the uppermost layer of air around our planet) is cooling and shrinking, literally decreasing the radius of the atmosphere.
To help track the latest developments, Martin Mlynczak of NASAs Langley Research Center and his colleagues recently introduced the Thermosphere Climate Index.
The Thermosphere Climate Index (TCI) tells how much heat nitric oxide (NO) molecules are dumping into space. During Solar Maximum, TCI is high (meaning Hot); during Solar Minimum, it is low (meaning Cold).
Right now, it is very low indeed 10 times smaller than we see during more active phases of the solar cycle, says Mlynczak
The Thermosphere Climate Index by Mlynczak and colleagues. Displays times of Cold, Cool, Neutral, Warm, and Hot since 1940.

Record cold in a matter of months
If current trends continue, it could soon set a Space Age record for cold, says Mlynczak. Were not there quite yet, but it could happen in a matter of months.

... and you can't grow much corn or wheat on a glacier. Cooling is much more of a threat to humans than warming.
We lost so many plants last year that we planter freezing resistant plants. Will be bringing the potted plants in this afternoon.
The solar cycle is how the Farmer’s Almanac predicts what kind of winter it’s going to be, and they are a lot more accurate than NOAA.

He really did a good job aggregating all that data together based on a “hobby”. The only reason it has not been affected by the deception is because it is such an unlikely “hobby” source for the real data about the suns true influence. Hammers are very serious about needing this data daily so it is “honest” data...
It’s been colder than usual here in Massachusetts since August. I’m not looking forward to winter. For our 35th wedding anniversary yesterday, I gave my husband a sweater, a long-sleeve t-shirt and an insulated vest. :)
Get ready for the climate change crowd to tell us that when its colder its because of global warming.

The hypocritical Left will have no problem saying that. Science, facts, logic and the lessons of history mean nothing to them.
Or Solar Heat Interdiction Team
You should start working on that again. You are going to get increased traffic very soon. I’m in and will help when I can. I just spent the last ten years researching this and preparing for this reality.

I live in Florida. I don't know what those things are................................./s
Suspicious Observers on YouTube has been talking about for several years in the daily morning reports.
The whole thing is nothing has changed in the long term scale, we are headed towards cold and have been for many thousand years. They have been manipulating the narrative using whatever short term scale fits the agenda. Meantime in the long term...
The Left wanted to use the ‘Global Warming’ farce as a way to raise taxes and make people feel guilty and become more complacent.
It backfired.
God will not be mocked....................
Oh no. It is going to get cold in January. We are all doomed.
It’s already been affecting food sources world wide the last three years. Even the marine life is making prerequisite changes to where they spawn because of it. Water species require a perfect particular temperature to reproduce.
We are likely entering a mini ice age similar to the one that was around during and after the revolutionary war. I think that one was 1680 to 1850.
In London the Thames froze and they skated and had ice fairs. I think the last ice fair was 1814.
In Atlanta we are having a full week with highs In the forties. A little early. I insulated the inside of our chicken house with hay flakes this week because it’s looking like an extra cold winter here. The chooks are loving it.
Boy, I guess it’s a good thing that “man” pumped all that CO2 into the atmosphere! /s
Boy, THAT will be headline news on ABCNNBCBS, NPR NYT, LAT, etc., etc. < /sarc >
An “inconvenient truth” for Al Gore and the warmists.
