No situation is so bad that it can't be made worse by calling in the cops.OTOH, I don't know what else the bar could do, except maybe have a blinking neon sign brought to put over the good guy, to tell the trigger-happy cops not to shoot.
I'd hope that someone was filming this, but it really wouldn't matter because cops apparently have carte blanche to kill anyone with a weapon.

Drop the mag as thew cops arrive, eject any round in the chamber, decock and put the gun on the ground and put your clasped hands behind your head. Let the police handle the bad guy(s).
