The Surprise Winner of Election 2018? Trump!
Townhall.com ^ | November 11, 2018 | Wayne Allyn Root

Posted on 11/11/2018 8:05:16 AM PST by Kaslin

I always tell the raw truth. I don't back down. I just say what's on my mind and let the chips fall where they may. Here's the raw truth about Tuesday's election, the winners and the losers.

Winner No. 1: President Donald Trump

Trump pulled off a miracle. He became only the fifth incumbent president to add Senate seats in the past 105 years. He picked up new seats in Florida, Missouri, Indiana and North Dakota. Blue wave? There was no blue wave. Senate victories look more like a red wave ... but not for the GOP. Specifically for Trump.

Where Trump campaigned, GOP Senate candidates won 9 of 11 races. Trump's energy pulls the GOP train. The GOP lost the House only because Trump couldn't be in 435 places at once.

Winner No. 2: Trump's 2020 Re-Election Campaign

Now, he gets to play hero and protect America from radical nut cases suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome, such as Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, Maxine Waters and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. This is a dream situation for Trump. Compared to these hysterical extremists and Marxists, he'll look like the adult in the room. Democrats will destroy themselves with their anger, hate and vitriol, setting up Trump for a win in 2020 and creating a chance for the GOP to retake the House with Trump's star power at the top of the ticket.

Winner No. 3: Wayne Allyn Root -- and Every Other Conservative Talker in America

We just hit the jackpot. Impeachment. Investigations. Bitter accusations. Controversy, chaos and fighting between Trump, Pelosi and Waters will be the best thing that ever happened to my shows. There will never be a dull moment. People on all sides will tune in to hear the latest drama in the most exciting soap opera in America political history, "As the Trump Turns."

Winner No. 4: The Stock Market

History proves Wall Street and stock investors love gridlock. Nothing will pass for the next two years -- except billions in infrastructure spending. Wall Street loves that, too.

Winner No. 5: Trump Again

He won't pass any bills. But with an expanded GOP Senate on his side, Trump will get new conservative federal judges confirmed at the fastest rate in history. Dems are excited because they just won the House. But that's meaningless. Trump will now "fundamentally change America" via the federal judiciary and executive orders.

Losers: Paul Ryan and most every RINO -- Republican in Name Only -- in the House who blew their careers by fighting Trump every step of the way and blowing the opportunity to pass the president's conservative agenda. They committed political suicide by not siding with Trump.

The Biggest Loser: Nevada. My state will soon become California East -- an open-borders sanctuary state with massive tax, spending and welfare increases on the way. Say goodbye to a booming state economy and population growth. The exodus of business owners and productive citizens will soon begin.

Now to the real raw honesty. In coming columns, I'll explain exactly how and why the Nevada GOP blew it. You're going to want to hear this.

And watch how hard it is to get RBGs replacement through this Senate.

Going three seats in the Senate is due to the quirk of having North Dakota, Missouri and Indiana in Democrat hands to begin with. Losing Arizona and Montana is devastating for the future. The ENTIRE west is going hard deep blue. AZ replaced Flake with a freakin’ anti-American socialist.

D +9 turnout. You can’t sugar-coat that. Democrats are competing to the point where fraud (which no one is doing anything about) can flip elections in places where they have no business competing in.

Republicans are still divided between the government class (Bush, Romney et. al.) and The Trump wing. Trump doesnt yet have the entire party. And Romney is a giant Judas in our midst. He’s enough to make us long for the days of that jerk Flake.

True. We only had 8 of our Senate seats up and we lost 2 of them. Our hold rate was 75 percent.

The Rats had 25 of their seats up and won 21 of them. Their hold rate was 82 percent.

There were some bright spots but overall there is no way to deny this was a blue wave.

“He didn’t win in North Dakota. Tester won.”

North Dakota is a YUGE win. Tester came back and won a slim victory in Montana.

And I didn’t say “harder” - it’s just not that much easier than Kavanaugh was.

The most House seats gained by Democrats in 44 years. I would call that a blue wave.

I call it a blue “ankle-slapper”, which is surf speak for a weak wave. A wave nonetheless.

Losing is not winning. The RINOs were successful in derailing Trump/our agenda. The senate leadership allowed the dims to sabotage Trumps administration by not confirming appointees. That we did the best we could is essentially true. But we are not winning.

Their only vision for the future is to impeach Trump. They will keep at it until they damage him (they hope) to the point that the spineless Republicans will no longer support him.

I am wondering now if ANY of these senate and governor elections were legitimate, I am beginning to think MANY of these elections were stolen and MASSIVE illegal immigrants voting!!!

“He didn’t win in North Dakota. Tester won.”

First of all Tester won in Montana, not North Dakota, and he cheated to win. The populous counties that went for Tester were the last counties to post their results in the same manner that the Democrat Party is trying to steal Florida, Arizona, and Georgia.

I remember back in 1967, when some Hippies wanted all hippies to move to Nevada and take over the state. Nevada had around 700,000 population then.
They didn’t so California invaded it.

Trump pulled off a miracle. He became only the fifth incumbent president to add Senate seats in the past 105 years...well, but in that there were ten states which he won by fifteen or more points in 2016 where 'rat senators were running and he won only what - four? - of them, it wasn't such a great victory - those squishy, squeamish Republicans who didn't bother to vote and support Trump this time around have only endorsed more mobs, disruptive investigations, and retreads of fifty year old 'rat initiatives (tax the rich already all over the Sunday TV - nauseating) - they deserve everything they get - but I don't.....

Oh, you’re right. I got them mixed up! Honestly, still shocked we lost Montana, though.

We gained (a measly +2 net) in the Senate because of what seats were up, they were in “red states”.

Of our 4 apparent pickups, 2 were gimmees we had no excuse for not winning and one they are trying to steal right now.

We lost a seat in Arizona and barely held Texas. We failed to win in WV and MT where Trump won landslides. There was a great opportunity for gains this cycle.

We avoided complete disaster by a bare minimum. There WAS a blue wave. “Wave” means close races mostly breaking for one side. The House result was awful. The President is not popular in the suburbs right now. No one was going into the voting booth thinking about GD Paul Ryan. We lost key Governorships and state races and 300 state leg seats. We held Florida narrowly over an Afro-American Bernie Sanders fan.

I hope the President is able to used Pelosi and friends as a foil to get reelected and take back the House. But calling this opportunity a “win” is moronic. We lost, fairly badly, end of story.

By all means look on the bright side, but this article is retarded.
