Its been 25 days since Jayme Closs disappeared, and her parents were killed... They are focused on forensic testing. For the last week, Wisconsins crime lab has tested 40 pieces of potential evidence a day. As of now we just dont have any good physical evidence either which is another frustrating part of this case, Sheriff Fitzgerald said. That includes already 80 pieces of separate videos or pictures from homes and businesses along Highway 8 from that night. Investigators have also kept a close eye on social media. As Facebook groups pop up, Fitzgerald says investigators check every post.

Interesting interview with the sheriff - https://drydenwire.com/news/watch-sheriff-fitzgerald-on-jayme-closs-investigation/?fbclid=IwAR2qrNcoZVNnJn_1ZaIXHaeUv_FCoPRvVP7lyFgRx1wWQ65P236m4jO-8gE
Offer to depose Trump permanently from office in exchange for finding the killers and Jayme and the media will solve the entire case for free within 2 weeks.
Get with it LE, this is not an option. Find her dammit.
They could find the cure for cancer in less time if that offer were made.
“WCCO found 23 sex offenders living within three miles of Jayme Closs. A number considered high in a town of just more than 3,400 people. But, the sheriff says so far everyone theyve talked to has fully cooperated.”
*SNIP*
“Before the murder and kidnapping at the Closs home, Sheriff Fitzgeralds department was focused on another crime that has crippled this area.
‘Meth was our No. 1 issue in Barron County. That led to property crimes that led to domestic abuse that led to child abuse,’ he said.
The county is ranked third in the state for the highest meth use, even against much more populated areas. Eighty percent of Barrons jail population is doing time for a meth-related crime. But, investigators dont see any connection at this time.”
Northern Wisconsin is so beautiful and pristine, but the drug problems raging there are surreal. Maybe our ‘New & Improved’ (SNORT) Governor can figure it out?
My guess on Jayme? I have no idea at all. If she’s still alive, it’ll be a miracle. :(
Sounds similar to the short case, southern VA 11 years ago.
23 KNOWN registered sex offenders. Bet they can triple that number for unknowns and those who don’t have to register or had their cases dismissed. One of their known sex offenders was caught sneaking into the crime scene to steal Jayme’s clothes. He was one who was talked to and dismissed.
It’s a small town and many residents have lived there forever so everyone knows everyone... sort of. What’s interesting is there were some articles stating 1/4 of the population is Somali imports. I couldn’t find them at the public schools so maybe they have their kids in a private muslim school. https://www.leadertelegram.com/news/front-page/somali-refugees-barron-community-work-to-bridge-cultural-divide-overcome/article_bda314b9-0dec-5aa1-b3b9-c4de23a27d9e.html
I was discussing this with some of my co-workers and we all noticed the same thing. We work with a lot of people that have suffered some type of abuse. We all came to the conclusion, admittedly based on nothing but the one picture, that she was somehow abused by someone. That look, the way she holds her head, looking up past her brow, the fake smile, we see that and it suggested to us that someone was doing something before this happened.
What that means exactly, I don't know. Like I said, none of us know them and I don't want to suggest anything about the family. Im guessing that one of her friends may have a bit of information that they don't know they have or don't want to give up.
Agreed. Her photos are not the least bit flattering - she looks like she’s either a little ‘slow’ or, as you said, has suffered abuse by someone.
I have a feeling that this one may end up as a, ‘Dateline Murder Mystery.’
It is very upsetting to realize they seem to have no leads besides the vehicles that apparently they don’t have plate info. She could be anywhere by now.
update... she has been found alive but that’s all we know yet
