Mother of Thousand Oaks Shooting Victim: ‘I Want Gun Control’

The mother of a man who survived the Las Vegas shooting but was killed in the Thousand Oaks shooting Wednesday night told local reporters that she wanted policy change over thoughts and prayers for her son's death. “My son was in Las Vegas with a lot of his friends and he came home. He didn’t come home last night, and I don’t want prayers. I don’t want thoughts,”

That would mean profiling of those who meet the characteristics of past mass shooters.

It will mean people like this guy, who have had contacts with the police and mental health evaluations, but were never adjudicated mentally ill which would have flagged NICS, could possibly still find themselves on "no buy" lists.

Or if you have had contact with some form of psychiatric Dr. or meds then you cant get a gun, legally.

That would be millions of people the vast majority of whom are no danger to anyone.

The only “gun control” that helps is more good citizens controlling their own guns so that mass shooters have to fear the pain and suffering of being shot up by others instead of just murdering a whole bunch of people leaving them to suffer and perhaps die while they end it quickly for themselves with a shot to the head.

The shooter used a legally bought handgun and an extended mag no legal in CA. Probably just a 13 rounder. It was a Glock 21. A .45 cal. Nice handgun but there are better shooting .45’s out there.

For every one of the victims in these horrible tragedies, there are a thousand others who successfully defended themselves against attempted murder, rape, or robbery thanks to their firearm.

But their stories don’t make the front page.

There will always be innocent people murdered by lunatics and others. We cannot "stop violence." It will always be with us. Feminists invented the false concept of stopping all violence for the purpose of breaking more families (misogamy, hatred of marriage) and opposing U.S. freedoms.

Violence would be less common without the high rates of fatherlessness caused by them and their pollution of societal morality to replace it with false morality.
