Incoming Democrat Chairman: Dems Will Go ‘All-In’ On Russia, Impeach Kavanaugh For ‘Perjury’
The Federalist ^ | 11-7-2018 | Mollie Hemingway

Posted on 11/07/2018 3:00:09 PM PST by Sir Napsalot

Judiciary Committee ranking member Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., revealed plans for House Democrats to investigate and impeach Justice Brett Kavanaugh for alleged perjury and investigate and impeach President Donald Trump for alleged treasonous collusion with Russia.

In post-election chats with various callers while riding the Acela train from New York to Washington, Nadler gave advice to a newly elected representative and discussed potential 2020 Democratic presidential nominees with another. He also lamented identity politics and the thriving economy and worried about Democrats losing working-class voters while gaining elite former Republicans and suburban women.

Nadler ...discussed two routes for investigating new Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh. The first is to go after the FBI for how they handled the investigation into unsubstantiated claims he sexually assaulted women. “They didn’t even do a half-ass job,” he said. “They didn’t interview 30 witnesses who said ‘Interview me! I’ve got a lot to say!'” he said, while mimicking people waving their hands to be called on.

His other plan is to go after Kavanaugh because “there’s a real indication that Kavanaugh committed perjury.” …

(snip)

Nadler said Russia investigations would be under a broad umbrella of holding Trump “accountable,” since it’s a more palatable argument than impeachment, that they would be going “all-in,” and much of what they get to would be “depending on what [special counsel Robert] Mueller finds.” Still, he said the Judiciary Committee would only be in a supportive role to Rep. Adam Schiff and the Intelligence Committee, which has “a way ahead start on that.” Still, he said Judiciary “will have a role” in the Russia investigations.

This is not an interview for the job which the senate hearing was. Kavanaugh was guilty until proven innocent. Now you idiots want to impeached him. Ok, Ford and the rest of the bunch have to go under oath. They have to prove guilty, Kavanaugh doesn’t have to prove his innocence. Bring it on, you mules

Let them go ahead and do it. They would welcome the fight.

I've read that Trump changed his mind about declassifying those documents which show him to be innocent because Rosenstein told him that if he did he'd be charged with "obstruction".

Seems to me that if was being impeached anyway he'd say "what the hell,I declassify the documents, embarrass the hell out of the Rats, and have one more impeachment charged lodged against me".

It goes without saying that they *will* impeach him...despite there being not a single "high crime" of "misdemeanor" in sight.

The only Democrats who will follow Nadler are in safe, deep blue districts.

Others.. not so much.

We have what- 214-215 Republicans in the House?

There’s not the Rats can do with fheir tiny majority. And depending on the way still to be counted House races ago, it could get even smaller.

Let them vent. The realities of governing will come home to them soon enough.

Just stick around here and similar websites. Don't watch any of the cable programs (including FOX). Basically go selectively off-grid.

I was trapped in an airport lounge awhile ago and of course CNN was on. I managed to sneak over to the monitor and found where the cable feed was. A subtle twist of the connector blanked out that screen. No damage done, no vandalism, just a peaceful interlude away from the propaganda. I really hate being forced to watch that stuff. At least my favorite watering hole sticks with sportscasts. Obnoxious, but bearable.

We are the quiet, nice, respectful, dumber than dumb, deplorables out here who believe in speaking via the voting booth. We don’t riot... we don’t destroy property... we don’t get in anyone’s faces out in public.

But this crap stirs me to the enth degree! They never quit! Ever since obama opened the pit to where evil resides, we have been inundated with this hate, division and threats. There are times when I stop being nice.

They start this crap and they are guilty of treason.. which is the zenith in corruption. hillary and obama have gotten by with all they did... and probably would have let it go. But the dems start this and I want them ALL taken in for the corruption they are guilty of.

They don’t run a country where they can do this... it is run by we the people! They are in washington to serve the people... if they think they can use their position to nullify our votes and take out a good President who is accomplishing more than they ever did or will... it’s not right and they are not going to do it! Same for Kavanaugh..they have done enough crimes and destruction of good men... they want their way and they think they can do this? NO...NOT NOW.. NOT TO THIS PRESIDENT!

NRA ran one similar decades ago.

Class of 2nd graders on a tour of FBI HQ.

Guide shows and tells with posters hanging of the 10 most wanted.

Little kid asks him:

“Why didn’t you hang on to them when you had them to take their pictures?”

Note to self, pursue this issue:

"He also complained that the new voters being recruited to join Democrats were “Rockefeller Republicans” who are liberal on social issues and that the new group makes Democrats more vulnerable to the charge they are no longer the party of the working person."

I’ve had no news on today! I listened to Rush.. but no news. I can’t hear their lies or talk... endless, senseless talk.. Can’t ...not today... not this week.

The media has had it SO wrong.. and are so hateful and have put the likes of me/us down daily... as if we don’t understand so they can talk about us in front of us.

I can’t do any of their shows... not today! I came here to FR to vent and read your comments.

Be sure to help the Robinsons with your donations... what would we do without FR!

they will impeach on some manufactured charge. It doesn't matter if it's false or not. And the Senate will not confirm with the 2/3 majority required.

The whole issue in my opinion is: they aren't in Washington doing the people's business at all. DemonRats only yearn for power, more power. And they really, really hate Trump. And they hat us for electing him. They will do all they can to damage the economy and keep the borders porous for as long as they can. It's just how the Rats operate.

Our education system and our media have totally corrupted the minds of 50% of the voters.

We can’t and don’t want to put restraints on the media, bad as it is, but we do need to get the federal government totally out of education.

My parents went to a one room schoolhouse in WWI days and had a much better education than children of today get.

I went through school when we had a county school system and a city school system and I got better than kids of today.

I never saw a kid hit a teacher nor did I ever hear of that happening.

As I said on another thread this morning, President Trump can not stop our decline. No one can. The president can only put brakes on it for a short time and then the decline will resume,,unless we can get the school system back in the hands of local people.
