Nice list. What's obvious, and not being said, is that Trump 1.0 was nothing more than the negotiation stage of our national realization that the republic might be lost.

Now we can collectively move on to Trump 2.0, which is the anger stage. Or, for many people on various election results threads, skip that and deal directly with depression.

Either way, we, as representatives of the productive class, must eventually reach acceptance of the reality of the situation we face. Whether Trump is the right person or not to lead the final fight is still open.

Actually, it doesn't really matter - the fight is coming regardless, and someone will emerge to lead the efforts. If it is actually Trump, then this salvo and any items on your list might be the opening campaign for a scorched earth approach.

I won’t dance on Session’s grave. He stuck his neck way out support PDJT when literally nobody else inside the beltway did. I never bought the tin foil conspiracy about Sessions being Deep State. He was a beltway lifer and never adapted to defeat rampaging Democrats. It’s unfortunate he recused himself and then doubled down on that stupid decision. Glad he’s gone now, though.

If so, he is inherently high profile enough for Trump to be able to humiliate him at will. As a first year guy, his ability to manipulate behind the scenes will be limited, as McConnell et al won't want him horning in on the power ahead of time. McConnell and Graham seem to have figured out that this is Trump's party now. That means you trust neither, but you can still work with them.
