Considering the fact that Nancy is showing signs of dementia....having her appear weekly on the Sunday political talk shows is a super-positive for the GOP. I personally don’t think that the Party elites want her to be the Speaker. I’m also of the mind that she’s only going to be around for 12 months....retiring early in 2020...to let some new district player get into the seat by appointment.

I think that’s exactly the type of “help” he has in mind. Pelosi would only accept it as a last resort, I think. Perhaps she will be that desperate.
Pelosi has been one of the best campaigners for Republicans just by being Pelosi. It doesn’t surprise me at all that Trump wants her as Speaker. That way whoever they put against him in 2020 he can run against Pelosi. She’s electoral poison.
I think this will work out well for Trump.
