The bad news is Nevada where Jacky Rosen is projected to defeat Dean Heller.
The Republicans will finish +4 in the Senate. Other than Manchin in West Virginia, all the red state Democrat Senators got slaughtered.
No where near as bad as you imagine. They wont be able to pass a single thing. Trump can pick up Obamas pen. He will also be able to finish shaping the courts and get another supreme or two. Last but not.least he will have an enemy to run against.
Sinema's victory margin in still stranded in the caravans in Mexico.
99% of the vote is in in AZ. Synema would have to win 80% of the remaining 1% to win.
He won’t need to veto anything. The Republicans control the Senate by a comfortable majority now.
If the House votes to Impeach, the Senate will vote to Acquit.
It sucks that we won’t be able to push legislation through in the next two years. The upside is we can still push through appointments and treaties AND now President Trump can campaign against the House making it more likely he will be reelected in 2020.
If it was ok for Obama to use it, it’s ok for Trump. Right, Democrats?
Can’t see Sinema catching up with these numbers. Only 9 precincts are out, 4 in R leaning counties and 5 in D leaning counties.
49.3% Martha McSally GOP 847,021
48.5% Kyrsten Sinema Dem 832,441
2.2% Other 38,476
99.3% of precincts reporting (1,478/1,489)
1,717,938 total votes
Math was bad. 11 precincts are out. 4R and 7D. Sinema still can’t make up this vote difference.
Having a more comfortable margin in the Senate means we can reshape the direction of the country, through restraint of the Judiciary, which in the end will reshape what Congress does. The country has gone off track, many years ago. Things can change no one can imagine now.
Uhh, you are aware the Republicans control the House until mid January of 2019...right?
We STILL hold majorities in BOTH HOUSES!
Yes, but you have other ballots that are set aside and counted later if needed (provisional ballots), plus a recount. It’s unlikely she loses, but its still within the realm of possibility.
This is one silver lining. It was hard for Trump to unload on Paul Ryan, supposedly GOP, yet probably only marginally less obstructionist to MAGA than Nancy will be.
Nancy is the perfect foil! Can't wait for the "We have to impeach Trump before you can see why we impeached him" moment.
The Senate will not vote to remove, but Nancy can simply "deem" POTUS impeached and removed. Anything is possible with our leftists today.
Will be an interesting two years for sure.
Agreed. Possible but unlikely in AZ for Sinema to win. MT is much closer and better chance for Dems. Still think Rosendale will prevail.
Yea I am sure the quitters and the putz Ryan will get right on the Trump agenda.
Ok, got it. Thanks.

Razor-thin, but good for 6 years.
I’m not at all sure keeping manchin is bad for conservatives.
I HAVE A PEN AND I HAVE A PHONE...
Well, who knows what absurd ridiculous nonsense will get to Trumps desk...
Lot's of RINO still infest the Congress...
