He won’t need to veto anything. The Republicans control the Senate by a comfortable majority now.

If the House votes to Impeach, the Senate will vote to Acquit.

It sucks that we won’t be able to push legislation through in the next two years. The upside is we can still push through appointments and treaties AND now President Trump can campaign against the House making it more likely he will be reelected in 2020.

This is one silver lining. It was hard for Trump to unload on Paul Ryan, supposedly GOP, yet probably only marginally less obstructionist to MAGA than Nancy will be.

Nancy is the perfect foil! Can't wait for the "We have to impeach Trump before you can see why we impeached him" moment.

The Senate will not vote to remove, but Nancy can simply "deem" POTUS impeached and removed. Anything is possible with our leftists today.

Will be an interesting two years for sure.

Well, who knows what absurd ridiculous nonsense will get to Trumps desk...

Lot's of RINO still infest the Congress...

I understand about not pushing through legislation, but what has the house and senate really pushed through besides tax cuts? No wall, no reciprocity, didn’t repeal obamacare, etc. What’s the difference if neither party cooperates with trump?

Honestly, I really hope they push impeachment and waste all their time on it... It will hurt them.

“If the House votes to Impeach, the Senate will vote to Acquit.”

No, the Senate merely does nothing. This is exactly what happened when Clinton was impeached. The Rat who controlled the Senate then very publicly indicated throughout the entire process that they were not even going to be taking the matter up, and the whole thing died there. My concern is that it will impact Trump in a similar manner as it did Clinton, which is to say that it will render him a lot less effective. Now, on the other hand, there may not even be an impeachment. This would give Trump something to run on, as it is quite obvious to any thinking individual that there is not one thing that Trump did since he took the oath of office that would give rise to an impeachment, and also that the whole thing with the Russians was just a hoax at best. Many of those Dems who won in the house last night one by razor-thin margins, and they will be running for reelection starting sometime this morning. Voting for something like this will put them in very grave Danger, and I am not sure that even the Rat leadership wants to deal with the backlash.

He should try to push through a bi-partisan infrastructure bill that the country could sorely use. If they vote that down, hammer them on it!

Aside from one tax cut, what other legislation was Paul Rino’s House good for?
