The report I saw on the local news here in Phoenix was that there are 500,000 ballots left to count with 400,000 of those in Maricopa County. That’s the county with Phoenix in it and is trending D.

They said the ballots were MAIL INS and were waiting to have the signatures on them verified.

I don’t know how they count mail in ballots when updating the areas still left to report, but I guess it’s possible there are so many out there.

Martha McSally accuses Kyrsten Sinema of supporting ‘treason’ in fiery Arizona Senate debate

FoxNews.com ^ | Oct 16, 2018 | Adam Shaw

Republican Martha McSally accused Democrat Kyrsten Sinema of saying “it was OK to commit treason” in a fiery Arizona Senate debate on Monday, in response to Sinema once telling a radio host she didn’t care if someone wanted to join the Taliban.

McSally was referring to a 2003 interview on a local Arizona radio station, where Sinema told the host she didn’t object to individuals going abroad and fighting for the Islamic fundamentalist group.

As an individual, if I want to go fight in the Taliban army, I go over there, and I’m fighting for the Taliban, I’m saying that’s a personal decision,” host and activist Ernest Hancock told Sinema, who was then a Green Party activist.

“Fine. I don’t care if you go and do that, go ahead,” she replied, according to the audio recording obtained by Fox News. It was one of a number of controversial statements that recently resurfaced from Sinema.

Taliban Kills Two U.S. Soldiers in Heavily Fortified Afghan Base

Edwin Mora
Nov 14, 2016

Taliban jihadists have killed two more U.S. Army soldiers this month and two American contractors in an attack that has been described as unprecedented given that it occurred inside the heavily fortified Bagram Airfield in northern Afghanistan, America’s largest military facility in the country.

Although jihadists have targeted Bagram in the past, Saturday’s attack marks the first time a suicide bomber made it inside.

The Pentagon has identified the two U.S. soldiers as Army Sgt. John W. Perry, 30, of Stockton, CA, and Pfc. Tyler R. Iubelt, 20, of Tamaroa, IL, adding that they were killed by an improvised explosive device (IED). ...”

“Social Nationalism” — I like it as a moniker.
But for policies I prefer PDJT and National Capitalism.

Local Channel 12 in Phoenix this morning said there are over 500k ballots that still need to be counted from the Phoenix metro area.

"Late early ballots?" What is this, a Monty Python skit?

Maricopa County Recorder's Office officials were expected to receive data from polling locations well into the night, said spokeswoman Murphy Hebert. The system will be updated as the ballots are processed, she said. Those data reflect in-person votes cast on Election Day. The office will then start processing the “late early ballots,” which include those dropped off at the polling places on election day. “That’s going to take days,” Hebert said.

Trump can always use EOs to militarize the border if necessary which will include construction of the wall.

He has quite a bit of authority under the use of emergency powers and his constitutional role as CIC.

When the government is “shut down” only about 20% of the government actually shuts down and essential services remain operational. Of course, this includes the military and Trump can effectively direct funds to go where he wants.

The Dems are going to have a hard time stopping him executing his CIC role.

Look at the bright side y’all. The strong showing in the Senate will likely ensure DJT yet another nomination/confirmation for the Supreme Court.

Ginsburg’s 85 years old. Good chance she will be forced to retire within the next two years. So...if you’re gonna lose one of the chambers of government, prolly losing the house at this point would be the one ya’d wanna lose.

Secondly, the Senate gains were valuable in that some of the most liberal Senators were defeated.

The same thing is happening in Texas. Az, FL and TX will be gone by 2024. Plan accordingly.

Sad but true. Wife and I talking about that this morning. Unless a new dynamic comes to play that lends itself to more conservative voters; our future looks dim. My biggest fear is over the years we devolve into Western Europe and lose our American Heritage. As life gets easier, societies get lazier. It may take a great war or other disaster for America to turn back, but I take my solace in God and the fact He does not change and can be counted on.

But thank God He gave us President Trump, we have the Senate. As long as we have breath we have hope.

Do you take a Democrat’s word on anything? Or, to put it another way, do you believe anything a Democrat says?

The county recorder is a RAT, Adrian Fontes.

That explains a lot.

It’s all those razor thin margins, in what should be red states, that is by far the most troubling thing about this election. E just barely avoided a massive....and I mean massive,..move towards single payer and open borders. That outcome was much closer than it appears. Holding off the socialists in the Deep South and the west was by a very narrow margin.

The trend isn’t good.

“McCain, Flake, and now a very close call with the commie Sinema. Pathetic situation, for sure. Fact is, formerly reliably red AZ is now purple and headed quickly toward blue. The two reasons: 1) Liberal Calis invading the state in order to escape the mess they made, somehow not connecting their ‘D’ voting habits with CA’s failure; 2) the Latino population (both legal and illegal) has grown exponentially.”

The Latino growth in urban Maricopa and Pima Counties is largely making the difference. Most Californians move to more rural counties like Yavapai, Mohave, and Pinal, which stayed Republican.

“Trump now has someone to blame if anything goes wrong.”

And he can go all-out warrior on Pelosi, which he really wasn’t able to do with Ryan in that position. It could get interesting.

God is sovereign - there’s a reason the House was put in the RATs hands, looking forward to learning why.

Sorry. I don’t buy into that. If God was controlling this election not ONE of those baby-killing RAT bastards would be in office ANYWHERE.

This was a major loss that, thankfully, we can take as a short term win.

The green and the commie (but I repeat myself) outnumbered the Republican.

Should never happen in Arizona but, alas, Arizona is no longer Arizona. It's Mexico North and Illinois West. A bad combo.

Let them waste their time. The Senate will never impeach. They’ll have wasted 2 years and given Trump a second term without even knowing it.
