Judge is keeping the polls open longer in the minority areas of Houston. (And a judge did the same thing over in Atlanta).

Hows the Texas Gov count looking? It might give some indication of whether the Beto lead is significant.

Well, after years of watching Texas elections.....I'm wondering what's going on with the Texas SOS site. Note that they have Cruz/Beto as the first listing.........and you can't even find the Governor/Lieutenant Governor vote totals stuck in the middle of the list. What the heck?

Beto will have an early lead until rural votes for Cruz start trickling in. This has been discussed often.
Don't start freaking out yet.

Over 4 million votes counted - looks like the Irishman has a healthy lead from the early voting.

I am not alarmed about these results.
I simply want them to be available and for people to be able to go to the Texas site and see the results live.
I think Cruz will win.
2% is extremely small.

Drudge headline has it 49.8 to 49.5 towards Cruz right now. Not sure the % counted. Also a small lead for DeSantis.
To: lonestar67
Okay, looks like they are just counting EARLY voting right now, when you go to the county by county results.

Even with early counting being all over the place, I still don’t like seeing ball park figures that depict a close race.

Several GOP House districts aren’t even registering yet. If you want to understand the Cruz numbers, look at the other statewide races where the Dems are around 48-49%. That should not last. Only Governor Abbott and George P. Bush have healthy leads. The other statewide GOP races are in the same rut as Cruz so I suspect the Red Wave is still yet to come in.
