I can’t believe how many FReepers thought we would keep the house. That goes against typical trends for all mid terms, and definitely the anti-trumpers and Ds have been loud and highly motivated. I can’t understand why you all thought Rs were going to keep everything. Forever?

Good points. The Democraps will be able to do plenty of posturing but that will mainly make them look worse for 2020. As long as the GOP Senate doesn’t wilt the House will be sharply constrained in what it can do. The Senate already ignores most House legislation even before this.....

maybe..

I also heard republican voters that don’t pay alot of attention saying they didn’t like the senate pushing him through.

very few heard he didn’t do any of it.

I think that cost republicans votes with the suburban moms.

There are still other races to be flipped. They took the house. It’s over.

people here kept telling me wait till the mid-terms and trump will move on Hillary and Obama and Lynch. How’s that looking now. If the dems initiate impeachment, trump will look too vindictive. he blew his chance to support the rule of law. He let them go even after they ran a coup against him. Too little too, late.

If trump trades them for no impeachment the results are the same they walk. 22 months in and it’s too late for justice.

“All those Puerto Ricans who settled in Florida may open businesses...”

My guess is most of the PRicans who moved to Florida had some means to do so. That tells me they will be loathe to vote to put into office those who destroyed their island paradise.

That’s what kills me, Paul Ryan still there to obstruct. He must have something on every damn Rep to be able to pull this off.

>>I don’t think so. I’d guess 3-4 months at most.

The moment of truth for Q-uthers. The plan...if there is one...better be revealed now or never. He won’t be able to wait for long if there is truly a plan.

...
I totally agree with you if there is a q plan it hopefully will be revealed now. The 61,000 indictments if nothing is done with them then I will stop believing in that.

Faso gone, narrowly. The Green (third place) and Diane Neal (4th) get only 2.5% combined. Liberals didn’t waste their votes. Damn.

100% in, Tenney (R) down by 1K+.

Boo NY.

Chris Collins (R) up 3K with 81% in. If he holds on he should stay in office, we don’t need no special elections, Trump should pardon him.

I see a 3,500 vote advantage with 88% reporting on NBCnews.com

They just updated it from my loacal station in Greenville . At 92 % reporting, the Dem has a 10,000 vote lead.

Just damn on Lance. The Malinowski guy just moved here last year. That needs to be a target in 2020. Maybe I will run for this seat.

Well I just checked RCP and with 97% reporting our RINO congressman Rob Woodall has made a miraculous comeback and is winning. The guy has nine lives. I was just feeling pretty good about getting rid of him. LOL!

I see your point but it would still be too close for comfort.

The biggest mistake Cruz ever made was running for president. He alienated a lot of people. But we couldn’t ask for a better defender of the Constitution and that is his niche.

If we lose Texas, we’ve lost the country.

Wait till the new Marxist president of Mexico gets busy turning Mexico into Venezuela. Then it’s going to get real crazy.

+4 pickup in Senate is biggest pickup in the Senate by a President’s party in midterms since JFK 56 years ago (also +4). Btw Obama lost 63 seats in the house in 2010 (and 6 senate seats!), and Clinton lost 54 house seats in 1994 (and 9 senate seats). Both were re-elected as you all know!
