It is my birthday today, so I get to post the live thread. :)
Some places to watch:
Politico SenateReal Clear Politics
Why has Florida been stuck on 93% for the last hour?
They’re not gonna win the house.
That chance has come and gone.
Drudge has been banned from this thread -
not seeing it either. fox won’t call and that imbecile rove talking about all the uncounted precincts in blue counties. I really don’t like him
My thought as well. If we can roll up a few more seats in the Senate, Manchin may see the writing on the wall and decide to flip to the Good Side. He helped us with Kavanaugh. Maybe offer him a good committee assignment for jumping sides and pledging to work with DJT and not stab us in the back (with a much conviction as a former ‘Rat can muster on a pledge like that).
They are trying to keep the Democrats on the Left Coast engaged.
Has FL really been called?
Hawley over McCaskill with 12% in.
I just checked in Texas, lots of areas have not even reported yet and Cruz is ahead at this time. Only 316 precinct’s reporting.
Naw, his opponent Morrissey was an uninspiring campaigner and viewed as a carpet bagger. That and the Manchin family has been a fixture in WV politics for 60 years. WV is a purple state, at least on the local level.
If the Dems can't gain anything significant this race, they're just going to keep going farther left. What do they really have to offer Manchin? If he flips, it won't be because he left the Dems, it would be because the Dems left him.
I live here and I've been saying that for a long time. It will be very hard for the rest of the US to make up our 38 electoral votes. That's a 76 EV switch. That's huge. With the swing happening in Florida as well because of Hurricane Maria (and the demographic shift that will follow)...its probably going to happen in the next 20 years.
This is heartbreaking says Van Jones on CNN
9:23 PM - Nov 6, 2018
Rove just said the were still 300 precincts left to report in D areas of Florida.
Umm...nope..click on Governor and Broward...stuck on 70% for hours: https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2018-election/midterms/fl
CNN people aren’t sounding very enthusiastic. They have conceded that the GP will expand the majority in the Senate.
They aren’t thinking overly optimistic about the house. At best, they think the Democrats will have a very narrow margin in the House.
We hold OK GOV, not close.
Rats hold RI, looks like the rat tops 50%. What went wrong there?
Who called FL ?????
