CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO. President Trump on Monday paused his campaign rally in Missouri for roughly 10 minutes after an elderly woman in the crowd collapsed and required medical attention.
Trump was recounting his presidential victory of two years ago and chiding Hillary Clinton for calling some of the president's supporters "deplorables" when something appeared to catch his eye in the crowd.
"Is there a doctor in the house, please? Doctor? Please. Thank you," Trump said, pointing toward the crowd gathered on the floor of the Show Me Center.
The president urged medical staff that converged on the woman to take their time as he stepped away from the podium. At one point, he urged the crowd to "say a little prayer," at which point attendees behind the stage could be seen bowing their heads.
A short time later, the audience began singing "Amazing Grace."
The woman was eventually taken out of the crowd, and an individual in a suit signaled to Trump that she was OK.
"That was really something," Trump said, stepping back up to the podium. "I want to just thank everybody for the way you behaved. That was beautiful."
"Hopefully shell be OK," he added, before launching back into his stump speech and praising Missouri Senate candidate as an "amazing fighter."
The Missouri rally marked the third of three campaign rallies Trump held on Monday to provide a final boost to GOP Senate candidates before Election Day.
The president's rally in Fort Wayne, Ind., was also briefly interrupted by a medical incident in the crowd.
Excellent post.
None of us are perfect. Just forgiven and saved by God's grace and love.
Prayers up for the woman who collapsed, for our President, and may God continue to bless and protect the United States of America.
Let me assure you that the Holy Spirit is fluent in gobbledygook.
I was there. President Trump saw something was wrong. The crowd in front of him had been standing for hours, so the fact that someone fell (there was another before the President appeared) isn’t too surprising. But the fact that he instantly stopped his speech, called for a doctor, and repeatedly told the EMTs not to rush, not to hurry, not to worry, “we have all the time in the world” reminded me of what the rabbi in Pittsburgh said about Trump’s humanity and how it never seems to be shown.
He asked for prayers and in our part of the crowd you could hear the Lord’s Prayer. And then came the spontaneous ‘Amazing Grace’. It really seemed to move him and afterwards he complimented the crowd on how it responded.
Good to know... thanks for that info re Brett Samuels.

My favorite verse. Especially powerful if modulated to a higher key than the prior verses.
I get so damn nervous during those collapses.......I hope the security is on the ball making sure everything is alright.
AMEN!
Glad there was a real doctor.
***********
Elaine: Well, this is my boyfriend, doctor Ben Gelfen.
Ben: Well, I’m an intern.
Elaine: Hey, stop kidding me. He’s a doctor. He’s a very good doctor.
Woman: Carlitto’s just passed out. Can anyone help?
Elaine: Well, there’s a doctor right here.
Ben: No there’s not.
Elaine: Can’t you at least tell him what to do?
Ben: Like what?
Sue Ellen: Shouldn’t he elevate his legs?
Ben: Right. Elevate your legs!
Exactly!
I also heard a faint female voice and the first time I could not hear what she said. The second time I heard it, “PRAY FOR HER”! Then, I saw several hands lift up high! Praying warriors!!! Chills and thrills that The Holy Spirit was in that building!
God Bless our President, Vice President, their families, and all those elected to serve God and us! God Bless AMERICA!!!
“How powerful and sweet the Holy Spirit is!”
AMEN !!!
Chief, now I will go around all day with Amazing Grace floating in my mind.
(Going out to vote shortly)
I do a good deal of public speaking, both for work and some personal things I’m involved in. Audience is usually a few dozen to a couple hundred.
I don’t know if it’s normal among public speakers, but when I make eye contact, I’m sort of just pretending. I can scan the audience and literally not see a thing. Once I was saying something and my wife had some new information to give me. She was in the back of the church waving her arms and I didn’t even see her.
For the President to instantly see a problem among a crowd of 30,000 is astounding to me, and shows just how deeply he cares about America and each American.
Ronald Reagan in 1984 was my first Presidential vote. I was very proud to vote for him, drove 400 miles to do it too. It was also my first date with the girl who became my wife, however, I’m more proud to have voted for Donald Trump that Reagan. (not by much)
