Chicago has the highest number of murders, but Baltimore has the hghest number of murders per 100,000 population. I think. Baltimore is therefore the more dangerous city
So, although California has the largest number of poor and the largest population, how many poor does it have per 100,000 population?

The author correctly points out that the stats are skewed because of the concentration of wealth in Hollywood and Silicon Valley but the real disparity is due to the excessive number of government employees with their lucrative salaries, benefits and pensions. In fact, there needs to be a ten-year moratorium on any former resident of California who was registered to vote in California from voting in any other state's election.
