If they really wanted to rub salt in her wounds, they should ask the judge to suspend any jail time or fine, on condition that she get *extended* “anger management” counseling from a licensed, court approved therapist.
So instead of say 48 hrs and a $200 fine, she gets three months of psychobabble Muzak from some social worker who will only release her if she shows continual “improvement” for months. This can be hell itself if you appear near normal at the onset, because no “improvement” equals no release.
