I cannot access the forums any more, can only post, hope somebody fixes this, this could be due to an ad ? but I don't think the FR runs ads?

It’s not an ad. It’s a graphic with a link on one of the Q threads. And it’s not a dangerous site. It’s just Google doing a little electioneering.

FR doesn’t run adds and I am not having any problems using Chrome on a laptop. You may have something on your device?

I was the LA Public Library on location shoot and yeah, the wifi stated the same. Same as Coffee Bean. So it’s not a coincidence, including my carrier’s wifi.

That’s not what we’re saying. The “deceptive site” warning pops up on the link area for security and I got it at multiple wifi sites. Sure, We can access but the stupid ass warning makes me suspicious..

Okay, it seemed to go away. By the way there was no “Continue” button, I could not get to the forums. Wonder if Google is going to pull some stunt in conjunction with whatever dramatic October surprize the dems’ have cooked up, should come out within the hour for the weekend news cycles
I agree but I’m not sure you can completely eradicate them.
So many things come with google junk preinstalled.
You can use duck duck go or whatever but somewhere, somehow google is always lurking and working in the background.
Maybe FR is being attacked.

i get the same stupid warning too at my favorite free wifi sites in the city yesterday.
I googled free republic and clicked in with no warnings so this is due to something you are doing.
