Nolte: Axios Tells Midterm Voters We’re Headed into ‘Recession’–Moments Before Blowout Jobs Report
Brietbart ^ | 11/02/2018 | John Nolte

Mike Allen, co-founder of Axios, tried to claim that the economy is headed into a recession on the same day the October jobs report delivered spectacular news.

Allen dropped the following headline: “1 big thing: New signs the booming economy could slide into recession.”

Details: Allen cherry-picked data to backfill his hysteria.

The big picture: Something else the “experts” were telling us as recently as last week: the economy only added 190,000 jobs in October. But Reality actually added 250,000 jobs.

My favorite is this:

And U.S. economic growth is already slowing:

In the third quarter, GDP growth retreated to a 3.5% annual rate, down from 4.2% the prior quarter. Going forward, economists expect growth to hit 2.9% in the fourth quarter, and 2.5% in the first quarter of 2019. Yes, how horrible to have economic growth “slow” from 4.2 percent to 3.5 percent, especially after Obama failed to top three percent annual growth for eight interminable years.

Not fake news: Manufacturing has not stalled. Manufacturing simply expanded at a slower pace, from 59.8 in September to 57.7 in October. Anything above 50 is an expansion, is manufacturing continuing to expand.

Allen claiming that manufacturing has stalled is like me claiming I have stopped hitting you in the head with a hammer because I am only hitting you in the head with a hammer 57.7 times per minute instead of 59.8.

Trump is creating 1,000 manufacturing jobs each day and every new worker should be a Trump voter. The GOP is slowly but surely becoming a new political party and I love it!

I think Axios is composed of left wing droppings shed by Politico.

This is just cover for the recession that will come if the Democrats take the house and foul things up.

We are almost always headed into a recession, and recessions are a necessary part of the economic cycle.

Even if he is right, it’s nothing to worry about, but he’s not right, yet.

I’m with Yellen so far. Mild recession in 2020.

By Recession, Axios, must be referring to Bolshies taking over the House.

Yeah, from 200 MPH to 185. Gotta slow down for the curves, after all.

Axios is Comcast.

NBC is Comcast

MSNBC is Comcast

Are you a Comcast subscribing masochist?

Comcast is America’s most dangerous enemy.

Comcast is more dangerous to America than Russia or Iran

A favorite line of mine from a Jefferson Airplane song (Turn My Life Down) (and yes, I’m an old hippie that has seen the light) seems appropriate here:

‘...wishful thinking leaves me no place to hide’

Thanks for the Jefferson Airplane. I wasn’t a hippy in the 60s, more the Belushi model from Animal House. What a time, eh? :)

I wasn’t really quite a hippy, but way closer than I am now that I stepped out of the belladonic haze. But Jefferson Airplane/Grace Slick still rocks it for me.

‘eh?’ you aren’t Canadian by any chance?

No, 100% red, white & blue. Pushing the big Seven-0 so every day is a gift. And yeah, classic rock is my choice of music. Early to mid 1970s is as new as tunes get for me :)

Technically we’re still headed OUT of a recession, but Trump has at least pulled us out of the screaming nosedive we were in.
