My only questino is, does she have what it takes to dress down some of the ciuntries and leaders that truly need it? (She seems VERY mild tempered, so I hope she can bring on the heat when the situation calls for it) POTUS would not have considered her, if he didnt know she had the brains, integrity, and mettle to handle the job.

Why not just leave the post empty? What good has representation at the UN done us? Let some deputy assistant ambassador do whatever work has to be done.

I would say the power of the veto vote on the Security Council.
I would also like the US to tell the UN to take a hike.

Shes a cutie, but is she TOUGH? Haley was far more of a bulldog as UN Ambassador then I ever would have expected. I assume POTUS has discussed his expectations and believes she can live up to them. Let's hope Nauert is tough as nails at the UN!

I would say the power of the veto vote on the Security Council. Which gets us what?
I would also like the US to tell the UN to take a hike.
And if we're going do that then it's another reason not to fill the slot.

I dont agree, you want to put the cart before the horse. I think that leaving the ambassador position empty and letting some flunky handle the work sends a message of just how little the Administration thinks of the UN. I see nothing wrong with that.

Saw that she attended Pine Manor————known affectionately around parts of MA as Pine Mattress.
