Full title : Mary Matalin to Newsmax TV: GOP Will Hold House, Add Senate Seats
Republican political consultant Mary Matalin told Newsmax TV on Thursday that she believes the GOP will not only win seats in the Senate, but also hold on to the House majority.
In remarks on “Newsmax Now,” Matalin — who’s served under President Ronald Reagan, was campaign director for George H. W. Bush, and was an assistant to President George W. Bush — said Democrats “forget even recent history” We’re going to win in all the same places” Republicans were victorious in 2016, she asserted.
“I've been looking at my notes from last spring when the wave was starting to be the narrative,” she added. “We're never going to lose the House. And I'm looking to pick up five to seven Senate seats.”

Black and Hispanic turnout will be lower than average. Trump voters will turn out to vote Republican. All the huge Trump rallies mean something. But, just like in 2016, the media say that crowd size doesn’t matter, but it does. Have you seen the reactions of these crowds, it’s tremendous, and no one can convince me that they aren’t going to vote the way Trump wants them to. The dem over-reach on Kavanaugh and the invasion force headed our way is going to backfire on the dems.

Conservative don’t answer their phones to anyone they don’t recognize. In fact, they are quickly added to the blocking feature of both land-line and cell phones. Trolling via voice is beyond epidemic and well into its terminal patient final hours.

Mary Matalin and James Carville have politics in common. Their personal life is not based on DC social status. They are both very smart and know the political war games and work them from their respective view points. I believe that Carville is a good American and a decent person who is an old line democrat and Mary is also a proud American who puts country first. They are living a family oriented, aside from politics, life and raising a family in a more normal atmosphere than the DC and media and Hollywood cesspool. They are evenly matched but the democrat party is now a socialist, communist, globalist, etc and etc, organization whose only purpose for existence is to destroy this Republic. Carville probably still justifies his democrat membership because democrats never change, as far as my experience shows, but politics is a business that he likes and democrats are who he works to elect. I have not seen him connected with the radicals and that may be where he draws a line.

If that happens, a lot of Democratic heads will explode. Pelosi and Schumer will be fired. Maybe Feinstein.
After having lived for so long and in many different countries and cultures and seen all kinds of marriages which “shouldn’t work” but then turn out to be great marriages, I have stopped questioning why people fall in love and marry, despite everyone thinking they shouldn’t. As far as I can see, their marriage has been a very happy, solid, long lasting marriage, despite all my instincts telling me it shouldn’t work. But hey, what do I know?

On paper, we had huge advantages going into this election season. The democrats were being forced to defend twice as many seats if not more (can’t remember the exact number of dem vs pub seats initially up for reelection, but it was much worse for dems). Then a bunch of pubs decided to ‘retire’ so as to even things up a bit.
