With Beto ORourke all set to lose bigly next week, it seems even the New York Times is taking the opportunity to pour a little salt in his impending wound:
Long before he became a national liberal hero, Beto O'Rourke sided with the moneyed elite including his investor father-in-law against angry barrio residents, small business owners and even Jesuit priests in a redevelopment fight. @stefsaul https://t.co/3C9zS1wN7b

Ruh-roh!
Also, did not know until today that Beto is a billionaire (or rather, is married to one). https://t.co/df4gWp2oTl

So Betos more of a Man of the Rich People, then. That definitely doesnt line up with the image hes so carefully cultivated. Maybe thats why all these lefties are so ticked at the New York Times:
Seriously?

Wherein Beto gets Hillaried by the NYT.

Nice. Just two years almost to the day after you torpedoed Hillary's campaign by amplifying a right wing talking point that proved to be a big fat nothing. pic.twitter.com/S5L42BJBZB

@nytimes Pathetic!! Waiting for the article about her emails. The timing is about right.

Genuinely disappointed in your hatchet journalism. But her emails the timing you chose to release such an inconsequential story makes me sick to my stomach .

Can you explain why the @NYT is hyping a 13yo story that includes no new info a week before election? #FascistPropagandists #VichyJournos #WeSeeYou #4thEstateFail #AccessJournalism #Shame
Tricoteuse (@TricoteuseToo) October 29, 2018
The NYT thinks its 1998 and that people like Beto and Gillum arent running against actual Nazis
Jake Honig (@jakehonig) October 29, 2018
Wow. Actual Nazis, huh?
Clearly @nytimes got the memo that #Beto is a threat to #TedCruz so theyre all in to stop him. Not this time we are on to you #VoteBlueToEndThisNightmare
Maxine Baptiste (@brownsugar7878) October 29, 2018
Looks like the NY Times is now supporting Ted Cruz by printing this article the week before the election. Seriously, this is right up there with the timing of the erroneous "There's nothing to this Trump and Russia" story. It seems it may be time to cancel my subscription again.

Here we go. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Stop it, Dems and other logical people. Just stop it.

Seriously disappointed in you, your editors, your paper. We need you to be better and best. We really need you to be best.
Kitten (@42Lives) October 29, 2018
Knock it off, that was a long time ago, so why the heck does it matter THIS WEEK???
WMR 🦈🇨🇦🐱🎃 (@Jinxy_Minxy) October 29, 2018
Its such a disgrace! Salt in wounds. Im appalled. WTF
Hilary R (@whoowhooH) October 29, 2018
You're not good. You hurt people, @peterbakernyt.
EBlackwell (@lldipity) October 29, 2018
This is so pathetic
cattywampus (@MrMittensthecat) October 29, 2018
Theres plenty more where that came from, of course.
If anyone needs us, well just be over here eating our popcorn.
Fauxrourke Ping!
I’m so sick of his meta-amphetimine like ads.
I can’t handle all this popcorn.
Win - Win- Win!!
Beto received a mountain of cash from the left, apparently flushed down the crapper.
Gee, everyone in Texas knows Robert ORourke is as phony as his made up name. But hes managed to scam Democrats out of nearly $100,000,000 while losing, which is always a good thing.
A fool and their money are soon parted.................
And he won’t share a dime of it with other Dems in spite of the DNC’s pleas to do so.
Beto, the pretend Latino, is nothing but an empty suit. He’ll shortly join Jon Ossof in the dustbin of political history.
I pray every day that Beto and Gillum go down big in flaming defeat. I have an interest in both races. I was born and raised in Florida. I have lived in Texas the past 38 years.
don’t worry, Gillum will lose.......................
Oh, you mean our 1/1024 Latino? Even many Latinos abhor him.
“Beto received a mountain of cash from the left, apparently flushed down the crapper”
I bet that money will be laundered and returned in the form of cash.
His ads are so bad he talks a mile minute and makes no sense.
He is a lousy speaker.
All I can say is...Hey Gillum...meet Bradley!
I hope so. It would be disastrous for Florida if Gillum won.
The Leftists are going berserk because the NYT doesnt want to get caught in their previously biased coverage. Bwahahaha!
He also has a heck of a Rolodex/mailing list/email list now, which is also worth millions.
His connection to moneyed elite could explain why it’s the most expensive Senate race in history.
“But hes managed to scam Democrats out of nearly $100,000,000 while losing, which is always a good thing.”
2. How much you want to bet that at least 10% of his campaign funds went to “consultants” and supplies, etc. that are somehow or other filling his personal pockets? That’s my belief, though I could be wrong. Maybe Beta is tired of living off of the allowance that his wife gives him, and wants some of his own funds?
