Meanwhile in the middle for rural Illinois President Trump had an event and his line did look to be a mile long

Is it possible that fearing conservative attendance and embarrassing questions, they limited the attendance to the party faithful? I recall when Christie was NJ Governor we (R registered) got emails ahead of time about his townhalls so we could RSVP, attend, and limit the number of leftist disruptors able to get in.
