It was maddening and frustrating to watch this past week’s coverage of the so-called “caravan” of thousands of Hondurans, Guatemalans and Salvadorans plowing through Mexico’s southern border and their subsequent march toward the United States.
How is the support system, organizational infrastructure, logistical planning and financial backing not a big part of this story?......Any average American watching this enormous undertaking would naturally be curious as to how the entire thing is being managed and how it originated........... Thousands of people don’t spontaneously decide to leave their homes and walk thousands of miles, violating multiple international borders, without some help.... We are all curious about this part of the story; why aren’t the reporters?
Another shameful part of the ongoing coverage is the willfully ignorant word used to describe this bizarre odyssey. .It was immediately labeled a “caravan” by some unknown media overlord.... “Caravan” does not fully describe the story we are witnessing.....the more accurate would be the blunt yet descriptive “invasion.” Because... the intent of the participants is not solely to flee their nations of origin, as the word “exodus” would suggest, but to end up in one particular nation at the end of their trek.
If the sole purpose of this exercise was for the participants to leave their hostile countries, then the story would be over. They’ve made it to Mexico,(granted Asylum) a country with the 15th-largest economy in the world, less than 4% unemployment and more cultural and ethnic similarities to their own countries than the United States... But their plan was not just to leave their country for a safer, friendly one. Their plan was to reach America and 'demand entry'....That’s an Invasion!

The fact all the media pundits make the news now ‘about each others networks and themselves is stunningly revealing. Though it’s been that way in the past it has never been as in your face and this without any concern how the public sees it.
Hollywood, Acadamia and the media have been forcing down everyones throats their socialist agenda for years and they were all prepared to celebrate that success on election night....they have never gotten over the shock they not only lost but that everything they had worked for was going to come down....not realizing how quickly that was going to happen .....so ‘everyday’ is a shock all over to them.....and Trump is the one doing tis every day... they just cannot accept their dreams for ‘world citizenship’ went up in smoke.

The last town they were in they cleaned out a grocery market in mass and beat up the owners. Also there are charitable groups like catholic churches that are feeding them along the way.....
Yes but I’m not sure how that will be done .....however Trumps not wasting time positioning troops on the border.....if the border agents are overwhelmed the troops likely will be released from their support positions and be fully visible to this mob no matter how they break off from the main mob.
That tiny market they raided would barely feed 500 people, not the 5,000 that were in that town.
Yes.....the media should just come clean and write.....Caravan....”the “Last Chance Armada” in the name of the brotherhood of man, and of Christian charity and love.”....the left is certainly pushing just that.

Of course, most Mexican pueblas wouldn’t have enough food on hand to feed a mob of 10,000 to 15,000.

I started asking those questions as soon as they formed.
You would think that this is a huge story for a journalist, a real journalist, to tear into. It is probably Screenplay-worthy.
