Haspel arrived in Turkey Monday to meet with government officials and listen to the purported recording. The report indicated that she was the first U.S. official to have access to evidence since news leaked that Turkey obtained a recording of the killing.

Reading between the lines here it seems as if the Turks has the Saudi Embassy bugged.
Why does this put the ball in our court?
Turkey and Saudi Arabia both routinely kill their own citizens. We must take actions why, again?
This guy was a Muslim Brotherhood propagandist at least, and likely an operative. Just because he got hired for a few gigs by Jeff Bezos blog doesnt make him an American citizen.
Private admonishment and move on.
Impossible! Gentlemen do not read each others mail.
My BS detector is going off. Trust the Turks?
One international subversive member of the Muslim Brotherhood dead, so what?

The Saudis need a better writer. They keep changing their story. Maybe we need to write the story, coming up with something that connects all the known data points but still exonerating the Crown Prince, so we can all get on with it. And make them swear to it.
Compensate the officers who will be required to take the fall sufficient to make it entirely worth their while.
And compensate the surviving Khashoggi family sufficient for them to shut up and go along with it.
How do we even know the audio recording is authentic?
