Judicial confirmations have become a blood sport, as the lengthy approval of Brett Kavanaugh showed. Wasn't it just weeks ago at John McCain's funeral that Democrats were calling for more civility in politics? We didn't use to fight so much over Supreme Court nominations.

Until the Trump era, the GOP felt they had to turn the other cheek and be gentlemanly no matter how dirty the tactics of the other side.
This is how they get payed back. Any other POTUS would have given up on Kavanaugh. But wait til the Left has another SCOTUS pick and starts howling when the first oppo research surfaces! Will the GOP turn tail and run without Trump’s leadership, or will they truly fight a far left candidate?

Charlie Shamp prophesied for Scotus: a Biblical “Samuel” first, Justice Kavanaugh, and said a Biblical “Deborah/Debra” would “arise” and be placed next. Many evangelicals believe this to be Judge Amy Barrett and then after that, the court will overturn Roe vs Wade. Deborah/Debra in the Bible was a famous judge.

No. They never worked for their electorate (their bosses) because they are democrats or at least non affiliated opportunists who do not even still want the majority. They want life as it was. Sitting around getting paid by donors and lobbyists pretending to work for them.

However ginning up a complaint against Barrett will be much less believable and we are going to have 4-6 new Senators which will take the shakey out of the equation.
They will be quiet as mice after the drubbing they are going to get. Shell shocked.
The only way that the Left can accomplish anything, is thru the courts. Their ideas suck and they know it. But a few activist judges can give them the win. Ginsburg and Kagan are their Top Dogs. Gay marriage has been shot down everywhere, even California. Those two, by law, should have recused themselves from the case as they both officiated at gay marriage ceremonies. If they had followed the law, Kennedy wouldn’t have been the swing vote.
