This is the supposed 'bomb'.
Observations:
This setup screams "Look at me! I'm a DEADLY BOMB!", not so much that it was an actual attempt to bomb someone.
I'm surprised they didn't tape a few road flares together, and send it with an old ticking windup alarm clock.

The wire gauge is ridiculous rated at what 10 - 20 amps.
The battery in the digital clock is one of those quarter sized ones capable of a few milliamp signal if one even existed which it doesn’t.

The thing that suggests that most is that they all happened at the same time, so close to an election. You would expect that the way that would happen is one at a time, one to Clinton, then one to Obama on a different (but close) day, and so forth. But the Democrats need it to be epidemic.
I think it was some hippy sending a marijuana pipe with some crushed marijuana leaves to his fave politicos, trying to get marijuana legalized.
