No political signs in my yard this year. Wifey is afraid unhinged Dems will harm her horses. I do not think that fear is unfounded.
Pollsters should ask who thier neighbors are voting for. That way it’s not attributed to those polled.
It’s not just that. The right strongly dislikes and distrusts the media. This results in more hang ups and ignored calls. The call then goes to a more centrist R that is willing to talk. This shifts all opinion to the left and strongly taints the polling process.
Furthermore, many registered voter polls over poll young voters. They’re willing to talk, but very unwilling to vote. This also skews the left and makes them think they have much more voters than they actually have.
I don’t answer the phone when I don’t recognize the number. How many people are like me and how accurate can any poll be when this happens?

Given the violent proclivities of our Lefty friends, being a mite circumspect about speaking to strangers on the telephone might be a wise precaution.
And that tells me that Obama, Soros, Globalists and the Left succeeded partially in an attempt to subjugate the country by making it an implicit if not explicit police state. Control the language and control thinking ... control thinking and that's the end of freedom.
And If they every get any real power, you know damn well they will make free speech explicitly illegal.
All speech will be 'free', but some speech will be freerer than other speech.
For now you can lie on polls and vote how you want. That would last about 12 years under a dem controlled regime, where most would suspect, probably correctly, that their votes were being entered into a database of 'good citizens.'
It’s not socially acceptable to be a Trump supporter, especially in the Burbs. The boys at the feed store and the Coop are happy to pump up Trump, but at the Chamber of Commerce, people keep their lips zipped. They will all vote for Trump and for the GOP candidates.

Don’t blame them. For whatever reason, the man is universally hated. And I really don’t understand why.
So the news is talking about how asking for proof of citizenship is suppressing the minority vote, an article on 538 lamenting that many close house races don’t have polling data, and now an article saying that the pollsters may be oversampling democrats.
They are test-driving their explanations for blowing the election prediction, again.

I don’t answer the phone if I don’t recognize the number. If I did somehow end up talking to a pollster I would lie. It’s none of their dang business.
I also wonder how many polls are taken over land line only. That skews the sample to older people - younger folks don’t pay for land lines anymore.
I have been getting polling robo calls from a certain number, which appears to be a republican organization, that calls 5-6 times in a span of 15 minutes several times a day. I’m probably going to vote republican anyway, but that’s very annoying.
They just don't see what some pissant telepollster has to do with any of their personal beliefs.

They’re not saying it at all. The surveys are private for the respondents. The truth is that their only exposure to politics is what they see on TV.

They claim they are anonymous, but they have the phone number they called.

As the leftists have double-downed on violence and harassment that number has even grown higher.
We need to eliminate the power of leftists to harass us. A great many of them have to be removed from corporate leadership, schools, universities, and government.

Had a phone poll ask me to give my home address as part of the demographic information. I told them to pound sand - the best they’d ever get from me would be a zip code and that is more then enough information for demographic purposes.
I really think they are trying to figure out where everyone lives that supports our President. Course I could just be paranoid.
I drove my Jeep around with a blue
ribbon to show support for or local
LEOs. I came out of Walmart and my
antenna was bent at 90 degrees with
ribbon gone. I walked around it
checking to see if the paint was keyed.
It wasn’t. I’ve removed my NRA, ARMY,
American flag, and Gadsden flag decals.
