... At Rasmussen Reports, which was the most accurate 2016 pollster, questions on Trump often see a spike in those who check "don't know."
Francis Coombs, Rasmussen managing editor, said, "In most surveys, you generally get 4 or 5 percent who say they are undecided, but if you ask about a controversial issue, particularly one involving Trump, that figure often jumps to the high teens 17 percent or 18 percent. That tells me that a lot of those people agree with the president but just aren't going to say it out loud."

LS just posted that some pollsters are finding they need to phone 60,000 people in order to get a sample size of 300.
Spoke to a pro marketer yesterday working on a major campaign for a state’s PR: 60k is the NORM to get 300 respondents. I bet half these people do 90k.
Yeah, 300 people who are willing to talk to a pollster. Not representative of the population at large.

WRONG.
I had an ex girlfriend who was living in Canada when Nixon beat McGovern in 1972 by an EV score of 520 to 17.
She and everyone she knew were CERTAIN McGovern would win ... very shocked.
I guess nothing has changed in Canada? :)
“I dont answer the phone when I dont recognize the number.
I don’t either.
Tell no one anything. None of their business.
“Wifey is afraid unhinged Dems will harm her horses. I do not think that fear is unfounded.”
I would be afraid, too. The RAT-Commies are crazy. (Now, I keep thinking about that horse head scene from The Godfather!)
Our Last Chance? [Can Donald Trump Revive The "Spirit of '76?]
I live in California and as a taxi driver I drive a lot.
I have seen NO bumper stickers on cars for the current California races. Not one. No Newsome signs even though he was our mayor.
There are still Obama stickers on cars dont get me wrong. But nothing for the current cycle. It is really weird.
I have seen ONE yard sign in this city. A brave soul has a Cox sign out front. The only yard sign Ive seen.
The last two times I answered political phone polls, I was asked my sexual orientation. I find that to be very personal and was quite shocked the first time. I have decided not to answer any more polls. I dont want to talk about sexual inclinations with a stranger.
Good decision!
Man, pls FReepmail me. I’m looking to move back home and it sounds like paradise!
When the caller ID looks like a pollster, I simply don’t pick up the phone.
LOL! Hope you threw in transgendered too! LOL!
Now that’s something you don’t see everyday. :-)
