President Trump announced Monday morning he is starting the process to cut or reduce aid to Central American countries that haven't stopped a caravan of illegal aliens. Over the past few days, the caravan has grown from 4,000 people to 7,000.

Over the weekend, President Trump again threatened to seal off the border if Central American countries or Mexico couldn't control the flow north.
"I would call in the military and I would seal off the border. I would close up the border. If that happens, and if that continues to move forward, the caravan we’re talking about," Trump said. "I think some bad people started that caravan.. you have some very, very bad people in the caravan. But I will seal off the border before they come into this country."
In Mexico, authorities have failed to stop the massive caravan. Stretching one mile long, it has broken through borders, police lines and barricades. When the cameras are off, caravan members ditch the walking to grab rides on train and trucks.
During an interview with Fox News anchor Bret Baier on Friday, Mexican Ambassador Geronimo Gutierrez again argued Mexican immigration policy does not encourage illegal behavior and should be orderly.
President Trump is headed to Texas Monday afternoon and will campaign for Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) in Houston. There's no doubt the caravan will be a heavy topic during his remarks.
This is an eventual INVASION and should be referred as such.
An amusing hyperbole. No, President Trump should not skip any steps that can prevent a war.
It would be best if non-violent measures are tried first, and event better if they actually work.
But if they do not stop the invasion, then forceful, violent and even lethal measures will be appropriate. It won't take nukes, or event much in the way of conventional weaponry. Small arms and mobile reconnaissance forces at most will be sufficient.
But the organizers of this party are perfectly willing to sacrifice 10,000 peasants to make the American Government, and President Trump, look bad.
So be it.
If it goes that far, then we should also hunt down and kill the organizers of this event. This is war. Innocent people die in war. War really sucks. If we must do it, then go in without restraints and get it over with as quickly as possible.

This a PERFECT opportunity to stop the flow of illegal drugs.
It will only take a few days for the Democrat-run inner cities to erupt into chaos, much of that economy relies heavily on gov subsidized ( via welfare, etc.) drug sales.

Trump, you want to win. Then drop the reduce and cut the hell out of all aid. These Countries are real shi! houses of corruption and a total economic failure. And as far as Mexico, they have a military and no reason not to stop them cold.

although the “aid” to corrupt foreign gummits is generally a waster of taxpayer money, what needs to be cut off, imo, is the aid the illegal immigrants receive once they invade/coloize America.

There’s a whole lot of places along I-10 called Fort This or That. Those places got those names because actual forts were established there. To secure the damned border. Using the Army. That’s what the Army is for; not overseas adventuring. “Securing” the border with a civilian Border Patrol is a luxury afforded by peaceful and friendly neighbors. Mexico is not friendly. Employ the Army for what the Army was established for, repelling invasion.
“We are a nation of immigrants” is the biggest lie of all. Every country is a nation of immigrants in that the history of all humanity prior to the modern era (approx. the last 100 yrs) is one of migration around the world. All countries in the Americas could be called a nation of immigrants. But no one is an immigrant in the country of their birth no matter where their ancestors came from.

This is an invasion of our country.
The President needs to convene an emergency meeting of his top advisors, especially military, and issue a warning proclamation of exactly what will happen if this “caravan” keeps coming. The only two choices are military force (which includes shooting) and/or putting all these people in massive detention camps. Neither choice is going to go over with the MSM - but he needs to show that this truly is a national emergency requiring all assets of the government on call.

All the aid money is going to the corrupocrats none of it is helping the people. If the elite in those countries can’t control the people maybe living like a peon will help.
Personally I’m tired of paying taxes to fund a military that protects other countries but is not permitted to protect our own. I’m tired of paying taxes so a bunch of lazy stupid people get fed off my dime.
Trump needs to release the information about who is funding this invasion. This invasion is timed to hit the border just before the elections and was organized and paid for by someone. Certainly our intelligence services and DOJ know or have good information about who is doing this...release it now. My bet George Soros and even the DNC are funding this invasion.
