Mexican authorities on Saturday allowed dozens of women and children from the Honduran migrant caravan to pass into its territory, the country's ambassador to Guatemala said.
Luis Manuel Lopez told AFP the women and children would be processed by immigration authorities and taken to a shelter in the city of Tapachula, 40 kilometers (25 miles) away.
The women ran forward when immigration officers unchained a gate that had been pinning back migrants at the crossing.

Mexico said they were going to detain those without papers and send them back if they didn’t qualify for refugee status in a humane way. So far, that’s what they’re doing.
My question is, the guys that jumped in the river, are they arresting them and sending them back?

For these illegals to get here by election day, they will have to be bused...They can’t walk 2000 miles in a little over two weeks...
To be bused means that Mexico will have to agree to bus them...That goes AGAINST the deal they made with the President....

So Mexico is only taking in some women and children, while buses take the first few hundred men back to Honduras. I see the plan. Wise move.
Remember President Trump’s offer to Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala. Take them back or no aid and a closed border.
From the photos I’ve seen, “women and children” are about 5% of the total
