Mexico opens border to women and children from migrant caravan

Mexican authorities on Saturday allowed dozens of women and children from the Honduran migrant caravan to pass into its territory, the country's ambassador to Guatemala said.

Luis Manuel Lopez told AFP the women and children would be processed by immigration authorities and taken to a shelter in the city of Tapachula, 40 kilometers (25 miles) away.

The women ran forward when immigration officers unchained a gate that had been pinning back migrants at the crossing.

Mexico can’t keep them. Central American’s have the same language, culture, cuisine, religion, racial characteristics, aesthetics, etc.

It would never work. They clearly need to be forwarded en masse to small towns in North Carolina, New England, Ohio, Idaho, etc.

Mexico has just declared war and is planning an invasion. Give Mexico two day's notice, bring all US citizens home and then shut down all Mexico-US border crossing points. Enforce the closing with the US military.

This will destroy Mexico's economy in short order. When Mexico agrees to stop this invasion-enabling nonsense, open the borders again.

The only problem I see with your plan is that around 70% of DC, including 70% of the White House NSC wants them brought to America. That’s all the democrats, around half of the GOP in DC, and all their contributors.

About the only people against it are the American voters. So of course, they ignore us.
