The remains of 63 infants or fetuses were found at a funeral home in Detroit on Friday, the Detroit Police Department said.
The discovery came amid an expanding investigation, one week after authorities found the decomposed remains of 11 infants or fetuses at another — apparently unrelated — funeral home in Detroit. The discoveries have raised concerns about the handling and disposal of human remains by the city’s funeral homes, especially in cases of stillbirth.
On Friday, the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs found “heinous conditions and negligent conduct” at the Perry Funeral Home. State authorities said on Saturday that they removed 37 remains from boxes and 26 from a freezer. Some of the human remains there were found to be years old.

Do the local hospitals and abortion centers send ‘remains’ to funeral homes? Don’t some women who have a full-term but stillborn child have a funeral? I’ve been to three in my lifetime, so far.

No fee for having them cremated saves the Funeral Home money.
Since these may be unwanted babies (fetuses and infants), then the Funeral Home bills the state for a cemetary plot, and yet can sell that same plot to someone else because no one is going to come try to visit the plot from the unwanted cases. MO MONEY.
It was medicaid fraud. Up to $555/fetus apparently. The bodies came from two hospitals in Detroit.

The mass murder of a generation is happening right in front of us and we are letting it happen. Yet people complain and go crazy when a few dozens children are hurt or killed with a gun.
While both situations are horrible, only the former situation is categorically denied by half the population of this society. Abortion is the murder of a child.

There was a time when Still born infants might be interred in the coffin along with someone having a funeral. I assume that you have to obtain permission from the family of the deceased. I don’t know what was happening at this home.

If they were supposed to be cremated, you make 100% profit. You hold them until you have enough to fill a coffin, them burn them all at once.

It depends. Short term miscarriages are often treated as medical waste. Yes, I know...not my cup of tea either.
Older stillborn are often handled at the request of the parents.
I have no idea how abortions are handled.
