A few very important facts about Kashoggi:

1. He was not a "journalist". He was a Muslim Brotherhood operative who was most recently working with Erdogan and the Turkish government. He supports terrorism and has called for Islamic jihad.

2. Turkey is in a very bad financial position. Their radical Muslim Jihadist government has alienated other countries in the middle east as well as the of the world.

3. Turkey is desperately seeking financial help from Saudi Arabia as well as other wealthy countries.

4. Erdogan is a brutal dictator. He has murdered thousands of his own people. He has complete control over the media in Turkey. The Turkish media are known to be dishonest.

5. No one has seen or heard this supposed tape of Khashoggi being murdered. The dishonest Turkish media report that the government supposedly has it. The media is completely controlled by Erdogan. They say whatever they are ordered to say.

6. President Trump has made enormous progress in the middle east. He has stopped the rise of ISIS and the influence of Iran. He has greatly improved America's relationship with Saudi Arabia and other countries. The demand that the U.S. immediately sever all ties to Saudi Arabia because of this would greatly damage both the U.S. and President Trump.

7. Iran has been training, financing, and providing weapons and safe havens for terrorists groups such as Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, and other Palestinian groups such as (Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

8. Khashoggi and Erdogan both support Islamic terrorism.

9. The plan seems to be to get funds from the U.S. and Saudi Arabia to Turkey to bail out Erdogan and finance Islamic terrorism. The plan is also to increase the power and influence of Iran and make the United States seem weak, unreliable and easily manipulated.

I’m still wondering why everyone is so concerned about one missing, presumably killed journalist.
If he was an American, I could see the concern in this country and understand concern in his native country... Why does America care about a Saudi journalist in Turkey?
Don’t we have enough to worry about?

None of that matters. It only serves to advertise that our contradictory alliances are an impossible situation. NOTHING excuses the atrocity in the embassy. If he's as bad as you say, why the heck wasn't he in Guantanamo instead of living free in the US? These claims only make Trump supporters seem evil.

The Saudi gov and leaders and any other country that's complicit should be severely sanctioned. Keep in mind that's what happened to Syria and Russia over fake claims of responsibility for chemical attacks, not to mention arming and funding the bad guys.

I'm a Deplorable who assumed that President Trump wanted to unravel the world mess. You do not represent me or my values.

If Erdogon is for this dead guy then you know he was a bad person. Nothing that comes out of Turkey is anywhere near the truth.

I wish I knew who the good guy was - Saudi Arabia who orchestrated 9/11 or Turkey which wants women to stop smiling. It’s so difficult to choose...

So we are to sacrifice our economy and Mideast alliances over the death (no matter how gruesome) of a Muslim Brotherhood radical.

It’s crystal clear to me that Turkey is behind this entire incident. They’re trying to drive a wedge between allies by committing murder it was highly planned through some of their double agents inside the Saudi government structure. It’s the Turks. I knew it from the instant it was reported. Will see how well they covered their tracks
It’s time for erdogan’s head to be set on a pike somewhere.

The Middle East is a cesspit.

And very few Westerners understand it, or the reasons for its seemingly irrational importance in world affairs.

This should be between Turkey and Saudi Arabia. We have no skin in this game and we should keep it that way.

While there is still an outside chance that this was a false flag performed by rouge elements in Saudi intelligence, it’s looking more and more like and unforced error by the Saudis. Unforced error in the sense the it politically hurts their key ally - Trump. The Saudi’s killing a political opponent is par for the course in that part of the world. The fact that Kashoggi was a muslim brotherhood sympathizing operative is even less reason for us to care. But it can potentially hurt POTUS politically less than 3 weeks from mid-terms.

The Left didn’t care one bit about sending billions to the Ayatollahs so they could perpetrate horrors on their own people and around the world. Remind them of that when they claim that anything short of sanctions and cancelling the arms deal is unacceptable.

Yep - I haven’t trusted Turkey for decades..wouldn’t put it past them to manufacture something to try to Turn trump off the Saudis...or cause a lot of political pressure for him to back off the current relationship he is cultivating.
