Once more unto the breach, dear friends?
A Hillary Clinton-Donald Trump rematch in 2020 would be the most hyped political fight of all time. It would also be the most brutal, mind-numbing, soul-destroying election in our history. The amount of money raised by the DNC and assorted super PACs would topple all previous records. Billions of dollars would go up in flames. The media coverage would be relentless. It would monopolize everyone's time and attention. The World Series would be relegated to ESPN3 in favor of more debates. It would be the election to end all elections — almost literally, in the sense that both campaigns would be pitching their opponent's victory as the end of the republic itself.
For cynics like me it would be a joy to watch.

Many folks here seem to think Hillary can’t win in 2020. I think they’re wrong. One reason the ol’ gal lost in 2016 is that she was lazy, and overconfident.
I read an article about a Hillary supporter in my state who went to a local ‘Hillary for President’ office. He wanted to get some signs to put in his from yard. They wanted to charge him $5 for each sign! He went home disgusted, without any signs.
That kind of arrogance and stupidity won’t be repeated in 2020 (Trump just barely won my state).
If Hillary runs in 2020, she’ll pull out all stops. As you noted, we’ll see ballot boxes stuffed like they’ve never been stuffed before.
While I do not think the Democrats would be too enamored with Hillary running again, I think her health may keep her out of any serious consideration. Hillary likely has a deteriorating neural condition, probably advanced Parkinson’s Disease. She could well be too debilitated to run again even if some in the party might want her. I expect Bill Clinton to, like Nelson Rockefeller, drop dead of a coronary while between the legs of some mistress.
