Hillary Clinton came out to Jersey City to help raise money for embattled New Jersey U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez on Monday.
Clinton was the featured guest at the event to raise money for Menendez, his leadership political action committee, and the New Jersey State Democratic Committee. at the Liberty Prime Steakhouse in Jersey City on Oct. 15. Tickets ranged from $500 to $5,400, according to an invitation.
Menendez, D-N.J., supported Clinton's presidential campaigns in both 2008 and 2016, against her Democratic primary opponents. In endorsing Clinton shortly before the June 2016 New Jersey primary, he called her opponent, Donald Trump, "an unmitigated disaster."
Menendez's Republican challenger, former Celgene Corp. executive Bob Hugin, launched a million-dollar ad campaign Monday to target unproven allegations that Menendez was involved with prostitutes during trips to the Dominican Republic with friend and campaign donor, Dr. Salomon Melgen.

It would be a sequel. The original movie was made four years ago when Andrew Cuomo saved Chris Christie over Bridgegate. The price was Christie as head of the Republican Governors Association not supporting Rob Astorino who was running against Cuomo.
Plurality Vote Winner - She got just over 48% of the vote, meaning more than half the voters didn’t select her. Minor detail, but she can never say she was the “choice of the people”.
Don’t let them lie that fact into obscurity with phrases like “popular vote winner”!

Anyway, I was using it sarcastically. No form of the popular vote will ever have any legal effect outside of determining the distribution of electoral votes.

I disagree; it galled BJ Clinton that he never won 50% of the vote (it lets victors use terms like “mandate”). Less than half the voters selected them, and it matters. Obama was elected by more than half the voters; Hillary in 2016 and Gore in 2000 were not chosen by half the voters.
In many places that use the popular vote, there would be a run-off if someone doesn’t win 50.01% of the votes.
Many in the state will vote for him because of his party, and his promise to oppose all things Trump, but that's the only reason he's getting their votes.
His turnout should be horrendous. Pray for rain on election day.
