It’s not that she would start out that way. But that’s how it could end up. Biden is way ahead in the polls.

My ancestral genealogy shows Blackfoot on my Father’s side and Cherokee on both Father & Mother. My Dad was supposedly 1/16th Blackfoot, i.e. I should be about 3% from that alone.

However, my DNA test showed NO Native American ancestry. The first results showed 15% Scandinavian. An update shows 0-13% Norwegian and added 0-2% French and 0-2% Spanish to my 61% England, Wales & Northwestern Europe and 31% Ireland and Scotland.

BTW, their Ancestry map does not even show a US Native American ancestry area other than New Mexico.

https://www.ancestry.com/dna/origins/A4C5DD3A-296A-48CF-AD3B-A6C5BBF12F87/view-all?group=America&region=AmericaN

Ancestry.com says “If you have Native American ancestry, but Native American ethnicity doesn’t appear in your DNA results, it may be worthwhile to test your grandparent, parent, or sibling.”

https://support.ancestry.com/s/article/Native-American-DNA-1460089694467?topicId=0TO150000004cAiGAI&topicName=DNA

They probably do not have enough Native American customers.

“Scientists say the average European-American is 0.18% Native American.”
***************************************************
Actual Europeans, living in Europe, descended from Europeans who never went to America have a certain percentage of “Native American” DNA. What this actually represents is DNA from Siberian sources. These peoples who were the source of these Siberian DNA segments contained in the DNA of modern Europeans were also the source of the same DNA segments present in Amerindians.

Elizabeth Warren is full of shit....and it’s not Cherokee shit.

The issue is not one of measurement error. This type of DNA analysis is based on probability, it is not determinate. Probability suggests that one segment on Chromosome 10 has been identified with a Native American halotype. Given the issues with the Native American database (mentioned on other posts), this finding is weak at best.

To improve the results, an autosomal test of Warren’s know relatives, her own family, cousins, etc. could narrow down the source of this DNA segment. The more relatives tested, the more likely that you could identify the source from genealogical records. You might even be able to attach a name to the source. Since Pocahontas lived about 10 generations before Warren, Trump could be literally right. By the way, Pocahontas was not a Cherokee. She was a Powhatan. Very few people, including Royalty, have a complete genealogy back for 10 generations and even the best genealogy is based on someone assertion that the father of a given child was a certain person. Since mothers occasionally lied for various reasons, we will never know the answer.

The point is a legal one, and certainly Elizbeth Warren lied on employment applications and did so to gain an unfairly advantage in the hiring process.

Pathetic. Those people from Latin America who provided the DNA were probably mostly white anyway (Spaniards and Portuguese are Europeans) so I fail to see how she could have done this. And what good is a “DNA” test done by a friend desperate to prove a point. It’s like Blasey Ford’s faux polygraph.

The ethnicity report that you get from Ancestry or other DNA commercial organizations are based on Haplogroups, a statistically organization of linked single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) alleles that suggest origin. European haplogroups have very large databases confirmed by other evidence (genealogy among other information). As mentioned elsewhere, Native American haplogroups are less well documented. Do not trade in your Lederhosen or Kilt for an Eagle Feather headdress

Didn’t one DNA site screw with the results of a White Supremacist to show he was part Negro?

I have heard that, who knows with so much fake news around. I don't mess with this stuff myself, if they want my DNA they can mop it up off the floor when they're done with me! DOD already has their fair share of it anyway.

I am as Caucasian as you can get but one part of my DNA also shows a Chinese or east Asian influence. So there! I too am an eligible minority candidate.

Using simple math and going back just a few generations we are ALL related. Two raised to the 36th power (About 910 years or AD 1108) is one hell of a big number.68,719,476,736..60 billion more than the earths present population. Don’t kid yourself. Not all exploring sailors were gay. Some liked to spread it around. And they DID!

A fact Hitler and the Master Racists happily ignore.

Elizabeth Warren Takes a DNA test

“Ms Warren, we have the results of your DNA test.”
“How much aboriginal ancestry do I have?”
“Well, there is good news and bad news.”
“What’s the bad news?”
“There’s no Indian blood. You are 20 percent Irish, 33 percent German, 47 percent Roma gypsy. You are hot-headed, bent on world domination, and completely untrustworthy.”
“Damn. What’s the good news?”
“You’re in the correct line of work.”

What SHOULD matter more than a tiny shred of her DNA being American Indian is if she LOOKS LIKE SHE IS AMERICAN INDIAN when applying for minority preferences.

The main reason so-called minority preferences are granted are because they hope to redress perceived wrongs done to that minority in our society based on their race.

No one could seriously say Elizabeth Warren looks anything like an American Indian. So we can conclude that she’s NEVER suffered any form of American Indian discrimination for one minute of her life.

If she were an ethical person, she wouldn’t have applied using minority preference. Plain and simple.

The actual report is interesting reading. Actual US based Native Americans refused to participate in typing, so they have no reference for them. Their reference comes from Mexico, Columbia, and Peru.

Also note that the length for #10 was compared to the average NA, rather than to the entire population.

It would have been more honest for Fauxahontas to announce AHEAD OF TIME that she WILL have a DNA test in a blind sample.

Let’s hope Trump pursues this and he can say:

“If she doesn’t look like an Indian at all and she claims American Indian victim status for a job application, how can we trust her for this DNA test she did? If so, then I’d like to see her do a blind sample test from an objective DNA testing company. If she’s confident in her heritage, she will be happy to oblige. If the test was done by a partisan scientist, she won’t cooperate.”

Sure enough, the results would likely be negative and Warren will be scarred for her campaign.

This will probably be Trump’s ace up his sleeve IF and only if she wins the primary and is to run against him. For now, his tweet today has him strategically posing as if he doesn’t give a hoot about her DNA. Brilliant!

from the Bustamante Warren report: For Native American references, we used samples within the 1000 Genomes project of Native American ancestry; these samples come from Mexico, Peru, and Colombia. (It is not possible to use Native American reference sequences from inside the United States, since Native American groups within the US have not chosen to participate in recent population genetics studies.)

Remember the old westerns where the Indians wouldn't let them take a photograph because they thought it was stealing their soul ?

Word has it this Bustamonte dna expert also moonlights as a polygraph expert for college professors and the DNC. /S
