The Turkish newspaper Sabah has revealed that the journalist Jamal Khasshogi, who was murdered in Istanbul, had entered the Saudi consulate with an Apple iWatch smartwatch that documented his interrogation and murder.
According to the report, Khasshogi first approached the consul's room and was then dragged by two senior intelligence officers to a second room where he was interrogated and tortured until he was murdered.
On the recordings are shouts of Khasshogi and the security men. He was then dragged into a third room at the consulate, where his body was dismembered.
According to the report, the Saudis realized that he had recorded only at a later stage and managed to erase only some of the files. His phone remained with his fiancee, and she transferred the phone to the Turkish security forces, who reportedly managed to recover the files and listen to the recordings.
The Saudi crown prince continues to claim that his country is not involved in the disappearance of Khashoggi, who the prince claims entered the consulate building on Tuesday and left 20 minutes to an hour later.
US President Donald Trump made it clear in an interview with CBS' "60 Minutes" program that if Saudi Arabia was indeed responsible for the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, it would be "severely punished." ....

It would not surprise me if the Turks STAGED the whole thing. Might sound ridiculous, but evil has been known to fake videos.
It just would not surprise me.
It's an embassy and undoubtedly has a commercial scale kitchen. More than sufficient tools to dismember a body. And I'm sure there were showers and shower curtains.
Also a distinct possibility in Erdogan’s Turkey.
I still don’t care if a Muslim Brotherhood WaPo contributor got whacked.
My sensei (now deceased) told me that his sensei taught him an entire lesson on how to dispose of dead bodies. The only real problem is the long bones of the legs and arms. The rest can be disassembled and left on the curb in a bag for trash collect, and nobody would know that it’s human remains. I would be astonished if every spook in every spook outfit in the world was not taught the fundamentals of body disposal.
The voice recording from inside the embassy lays out what happened to Jamal after he entered, The Post quoted a source as saying. You can hear his voice and the voices of men speaking Arabic. You can hear how he was interrogated, tortured and then murdered.
yep...... no body, no murder
We do NOT need to bother with this guy. He wasn’t a US citizen and was muslim brotherhood. Most likely it was Arkancide related. Hellary will do anything to take down Trump and the US including trying to get us to rush headlong into war. The Prince probably did the world a good deed, if he did take him out.
The recordings were not in the watch, they were in the cloud, and accessed from the phone, which remained with his wife.
Apple Watch has cellular function.
I remember and mourn Daniel Pearl, too. But there was a different Sheriff in town then. New Sheriff, new reaction. This Sheriff doesn’t bow down to Saudi royalty.
Saudis are our allies and this is really none of or business BUT we cant turn a blind eye to this. Trump is in a tough spot.
Thanks for the tip. I’m not an apple person.
Works for the Mafia.
This is NOT our problem. His death by crazies should be treated the SAME as the death of ANY American by overseas nuts.
Yes. WE CARE.
But no, we ARE NOT GOING TO WAR OVER HIS DEATH.
Apple watches communicate with iPhones via both bluetooth and WiFi.
BUT the Saudis would have had to give him access to their network if his phone was not in bluetooth range.
It is possible that he had an Apple Watch with cellular service. If so, he could have been recording the meeting and that recording could have been sent to his phone.
So, it is possible.
I am not. Go to New York and look at the monument sometime.
We have a bad history of supporting regimes that lead to worse things.
Let the House of Saud find their own way this time. We no reason to support them. Let them and Israel figure out their own foreign policy without using our blood for it. Israel will be fine, Saud will not be.
